Royal Problem

亗『𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧』亗

Sonic lets out a small yawn as he rubs his eyes he looked outside of his window to see that the sun was up, he looked over at the clock to find that it was only five in the morning, he got out of bed to get dressed he kind of felt a little bad for the other students since he got to have this big of a space to himself, he was rather okay with the normal hotel room.

There was a knock on his door, "Room Service" confused he opened the door to see on of the hotel employees pushing a table with two silver platers on the cart, "I didn't order?"

"I did, and it's already paid for" Mephiles said as he walked behind the Employee, who only bow at Mephiles before taking their leave from the room closing the door behind them.

"You didn't have to do that..." Sonic admits as he pinned his ears down, he really hated it when other people spent money on him, he had money of course after all this school trip couldn't really pay for all twenty-three students so most of the students had to bring their own money, and convert it to the currency that was of on this island, Sonic wasn't rich nor was he poor, since his uncle owned a restaurant he was financially stable, just not as much as the other students were who were kind of loaded with money, hints why his didn't have much clothes and little art supplies, and a single set of pajamas.

"I wanted to, after all I wanted your time here to has stress free as possible" Mephiles said as he rests a hand on Sonic's cheek, the azure male only leaned into his touch placing his hand over the other males after having to deal with Shadow last night, he felt kind of calm around Mephiles, he still didn't think that he was good enough to have this affection from a prince, but seeing that Mephiles would rather wanted to be treated not as such not when he was around him, he could only give him a small smile. "But I'm not hungry..." that was kind of a lie, since he's been missing out on that three meals a day, his body was kind of showing signs of that two meals a day.

"At least eat it...I picked it out just for you"

Sonic only nodded as he let the darker hedgehog lead him to the small table that was in the sweet, Mephiles motions him to sit down in the chair which he did, it would be rude to not accept the kind gestures from a prince that was treating him like he was one himself.

When the led was lifted off of the first silver plater, Sonic got whiff of the savory smell, it was a omelette burrito that was filled with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage, tomatoes and green peppers, with a hint of basil sprinkled on top. When the second led was removed from from the second silver plater, on it was two slices of pineapple bread with a small jar of honey on the side.

It was already to late to have it be taken back, not when Mephiles put a lot of money into this, he only lets out a quiet sigh and started to eat the meal, he'll have to pay the darker hedgehog back when gets the chance.

After Sonic had gotten dressed, in what clean clothes he had brought with him he grabbed his light weight jacket to put it on. He put his bag on that had his notebook for notes just incase his teacher had a pop quiz scheduled for when they got back to the hotel, as well as his sketchbook. If anything he was prepared to do all the work for his partners.

"Are you ready?"

"Mephiles, I can walk myself to the lobby and the bus"

"I know, Songbird but I do plan on spending time with you and if it that means I have to be a student I'm willing to take it"

Sonic really didn't have say, since Mephiles is free to do whatever he wanted, at the same time he did kind of what to know the prince much better now that he had month to actually build up a relationship with the prince. He took a hold of the darker hedgehog's hand.

When they made it to the lobby, where the teacher was waiting along with the other students who didn't really look all that happy to be up at five in morning just for lectures. Though most of the females were surprised to see Mephiles, in the class.

"Nice of you to be joining us Mr. Dark" the Teacher said.

Mephiles only bowed his head "The Pleasure is all mine Mr. Franklin"

"Alright everyone, I do hope you all have eaten, cause we have a big day planned for us" The Teacher said as they turned their attention to exit of the lobby. "Get with your partners and let's head to bus"

Sonic pulled his hand away from Mephiles so that he could catch up with Jet and Wave, the prince himself wasn't part of the class in that way after all he lives on this island and already knew about its history, something that he had to learn since he was prince, he was more an extra escort or tour guide. His eyes glowed a bright crimson red color when he saw the hawk and swallow pick on his mate. Of course he couldn't do anything about it since the look on Sonic's face told him that he was use to this, it still made him angry none of the less.

Upon getting on the bus, Mephiles had to pull his arm away from the other female students that when him to sit with them even though it was clear that they were sitting with someone.

"You really should focus on your own duties...not me" Sonic whispers.

"Please, My parents hardly know that I'm gone and besides they are busy with Shadow and his new fiancé" Mephiles whispers back. "And I am a hedgehog of my promises"

Sonic felt his cheeks heat up, feeling Mephiles' arm around his waist. He only leans into the other male, he kind of like this feeling, it was different from feeling loved by his family and friends.
