Royal Problem

亗『𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧』亗

Sonic was getting ready for bed, he really couldn't stop thinking about that date with Mephiles, he presses his fingers to his lips at the memory of Mephiles kissing him by the pool side.

He looked down at his suitcase and only saw that he had one clean pair of pant, and a t-shirt. He didn't really wear much since he can just get by with wearing the same clothes after just washing them, his Mother had offered to take him clothes shopping, as well as his twin sister, but he just refuses since he hated the idea of someone spending money on him, he was poor since he had money, how else was he able to pay for his college it's just that he was probably gonna be in debt when he finally graduated, cause of student loans.

His ears perked up when heard a knock on the door, he goes over to open it only to be met with Shadow, that's right he gave him a second chance.

"May I come in?"

Sonic moved out of the way to let Shadow inside, though when the hedgehog walked past him he got a whiff of a strong perfume scent from him, he didn't think anything of it after all the prince was engaged to a princess...who was probably better than him.

Shadow saw the clothes in the open suitcase that was on the table, he kind of felt bad for Sonic in away, of course he was royalty and didn't have to about financial issues, but he only shook his head he'll worry about that later right now he wanted to spend time with the one that he actually loves.

"Sorry I'm late...something just came up and I had to take care of it" Shadow admits as he walks over to the flat screen television, turning it on.

"What are you doing?"

"We are gonna have a Movie Night, I just figured it would be a nice relaxing night" Shadow said as he pats down the spot on the couch.

Sonic was hesitant at first but he sat down on the black leather couch, he was kind of surprised as to how comfortable it was, Shadow handed him the remote "You pick the Movie, have you eaten?"

Sonic took the remote, before he looked over at the clocked that read nine, he had Lunch at the villa with Mephiles which tasted great but he was kind of busy with homework since he wasn't just his own but Jet's and Wave's so he really didn't have time to eat dinner since he was distracted with that, not it mattered he can skip a meal, after all everything on Room Service menu looked to expensive. "No I haven't"

Shadow got up and walked over to the phone, that was on the wall...he glanced over at Sonic to see that he was getting some blankets and pillows for the them both, though he kind of found it rather cute to see the hedgehog put in a lot of effort just to making everything look perfect.

Sonic pinned his ears down as he started looking through the movies, their was a lot of options and a lot of Movies that he hadn't seen cause he didn't have the money to see them or the people to see them with...he just went for something that was tame and wouldn't scare him like the first live action Spider-Man Movie.

"I ordered Room Service, and the pizza along with the popcorn should be here soon" Shadow said as he sat down next to Sonic, he looked at the movie that Sonic had chosen.

"I...I didn't know what you liked...so I went for Spider-Man..." Sonic stammers as he was a little nervous being around Shadow, he didn't understand why he was nervous...it was kind of the same way with Mephiles. Was it his insecurities? Or the fact that he had never been on a date, mostly two dates in one day, with two different guys that liked him.

Shadow only smiled and gave Sonic a small nuzzle on the cheek, "I'm fine with whatever you choose after all I want you to be happy"

Sonic only tilted his ears back, it was already hard for him to choose between Mephiles and Shadow, they both treated him like he was more than some college student, and ignore their duties to just spend time with him, he still had to see how this plays out, though.

During the movie, as well as eating what the homemade pizza and fresh popcorn the night was rather relaxing to say for the most part, they got through the three Spider-Man movies.

Shadow heard the soft sound of snoring on top of him, he looked down to see Sonic had fallen asleep with his face buried into his chest fur. He turned off the tv picking Sonic up into his arms, he was rather surprised to find how light the grown hedgehog really is, he laid the hedgehog down onto the bed, he can just feel Sonic's breath on his muzzle, as well as his small figure pressing against his own, he mentally growls at himself as he pulls away from the sleeping hedgehog, as much as he wanted to just take the hedgehog's love...amongst other things...just so that Mephiles couldn't have him, he had to refrain himself.

He just pulls the covers over Sonic, and started to clean up, he had to be patient with him.

But it would be worth it in the end.
