Royal Problem

亗『𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧』亗

The day was rather uneventful, besides Sonic taking notes on the want the teacher said about the objects in the museum, though he did enjoy the art gallery in the museum...it was kind of his dream to have one of his own art pieces in a gallery like this. It wasn't long before the day was over and everyone had free time to at least explore the the island and it's beauty.

That is if they had the money for it, which was everyone besides Sonic, who only paid for the trip, thanks to his parent giving him the money to pay for the plane ticket, when they arrived back at the hotel the students scattered to head to their own rooms.

Mephiles held onto Sonic's hand and started walking him out of the hotel waving to the teacher goodbye, the female students only started to gossiping to each other about Sonic and would some so handsome have feelings for someone who is a clear mess, let alone probably smells like a homeless person.

"Where are we going?" Sonic asked following behind Mephiles.

"Just somewhere where we can have fun"

Sonic was a little confused by that, but he kind of trusts Mephiles...more than he trusted Shadow that's for sure. It was a long wait for a private limo to show up to the hotel sidewalk, the azure hedgehog was shocked to see one...not that he hadn't rode in one before, just another painful memory about a girl using him just to get back with her boyfriend at the high-school prom, leaving him to be alone during the whole thing.

But at least this time it was gonna be different Mephiles helped Sonic inside the limo before getting in himself and telling the driver the destination.

"You don't have to do this...really I'm fine with being alone in that hotel room" Sonic admits...though it was kind of a lie he really was enjoying Mephiles company...he's been alone all his life and now that he can experience what his siblings have he kind of didn't want that experience to go away, it was like this void in his heart had cleared up.

Mephiles knew that was a lie, throughout him spying on Sonic with his emerald he can just tell that hedgehog had been lost with himself mostly with finding that special someone that can actually make him feel the way that his siblings did with they were looking at their lovers, he kind of knew what it was like to be in a situation like that, how it felt to be loved by your family, but not loved by another.

"Just relax." Mephiles reassures Sonic.

The limo soon pulls up to a private villa, that was just on the outskirts of town, that looks out at a beautiful private beach, Sonic's eyes lit up at the sight as a smile curled onto his muzzle, this was definitely a surprise. Mephiles just lead Sonic inside the villa.

"Why did you take me here?"

"I wanted this to be special, the sun is still up how about a relaxing date on the beach, or by the pool?"

"D-Date?" Sonic repeated back, only to see the darker hedgehog nod at him. He's never been a date before...Hell he never had anyone ask him out, mostly because everyone thought he was poor, and unworthy of something that even though he is the nicest guy on campus. "The pool..." he said though he hid his nerves...he never really went swimming either, did he even know how to swim?

Mephiles only nodded as he gently pulled Sonic along to the bedroom to change. Of course he had some clothes that Sonic could borrow.

Sonic felt his cheeks heat up at the idea of changing with Mephiles, made his insecurity worse to the point that he just wanted to cry about it...but he kept it together, when he felt his hand being let go. He watched Mephiles pair of swimming trunks out of the closet that looked to be his size.

He didn't want to ruin his first date, so he took the swimsuit and walked to the bathroom after taking his hand bag off and placing it onto the bed. He just just took a few deep breaths before he started undressing himself. When he was fully undressed he only pinned his ears down at the sight of the feminine features, he only started to put on the pair of red swimming trunks, he didn't like the way how they squeezed his wastes.

"Sonic you okay in there?"

"N-No..." he admits his voice a little shaky.

"Can you at least come out?"

At this rate he was ruining the first date, something that he didn't want to do with a shaky hand he opened the door, only find Mephiles in his own pair of swimming trunks, he just felt himself start trembling he never really seen any of the twins with out their shirts off well maybe Shadow but he didn't wear a t-shirt at night, but he couldn't stop staring at the muscular body type. He only swallowed the lump in his throat as he stepped out of the bathroom.

Mephiles was silently he had to admit Sonic was beautiful in whatever he wore.

"I...I can change...this looks ba-"

"No...you look stunning~"

Sonic's ears perked up when heard those words, no one really complimented like that before, he didn't know what to say...

He took Mephiles' hand as he followed the other male to the backyard where the pool is, it was huge as well as very clear that you can see underwater wallpaper effect of the pool. Sonic only lets out a small whimper, he was really going beyond his comfort zone with Mephiles.

"Hey...I'm here I'm not gonna let you drown" Mephiles said as he made Sonic focus on him.

The blue hedgehog only started trembling when his paws hit the water of the stairs it was almost like trying to walk for the first time but he just closed his eyes and let Mephiles guide him, he didn't really feel any difference in temperature of the water, besides that he felt wet to abdomen.

"Sonic?..."

He only tightened his gripped around Mephiles, as he just started to cry softly.

"You can open your eyes"

The hedgehog opens his eyes and saw that he was in the water and that he paws were touching the bottom, he also saw that he face was close to Mephiles chest fur. He pulled away embarrassed with himself.

"I guess this is your first time?"

Sonic only looked away and nodded, Mephiles was kind of shocked by that answer he thought that some one has cute as him would have got on many dates...then again how those birds treated him it kind of explains why he was so nervous, and self conscious about himself. He only took a hold of Sonic's hand. "Well I'm glad that I can be your first"

Sonic had a small smile on his muzzle, at least Mephiles is patient with him. He felt the hedgehog move. "Just hold onto me if your scared"

"O-okay" Sonic stammers as he followed only for the water to start covering more of his body, and it was starting to get hard for him to touch the bottom when his paws he only pressed himself closer to Mephiles.

The date and the little swim lesson that Sonic wasn't really good at...which Mephiles took note of but he kept his promise with not letting the hedgehog drown, Sonic was laying on top of Mephiles by the pool both of them were laying on the hammock but Sonic had towel over his body, he enjoyed it even though he was scared. It was interesting first date, but then again he didn't know what to expect from a date.

For once he actually felt happy.
