meeting
The three days that were keeping them from meeting passed by way faster than they thought. Maybe too fast, Izzy said.
All five of them were walking to the café, already late because Izzy refused to get out of her bed. Amy took the lead, making sure she would see him first. She stopped them in front of the door. "I am going in to check them out, wait here," She proclaimed, Riley nodding to her. Amy opened the door, walking in, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible, looking at their usual table. Once she saw who was sitting there, she quickly turned around to go see her friends.
"Hell no," She said, taking Hana's hand, making the others walk a little further away from the café. "Jeongin's sitting there," she explained. "They are all Hyunjin's friends."
"What?" Riley asked confusedly. "Who is there?"
"Jeongin, Chan, Changbin, Jisung and Seungmin!" Amy almost screamed. "How possible is it that your soulmate is a friend with mine?" She turned to Hana, still holding her hand as if she wasn't letting her go inside. "And how possible is it that he brings my soulmate with him?"
"This is going to be fun," Izzy laughed, taking Hana's other hand, walking back to the door. Thankfully Amy wasn't holding her that hard so she managed to get away from her. "Come on, this is your chance too, Amy." She said and before Amy could answer anything, Izzy and Hana were already inside, Riley and Astran quickly following them.
"Guys, this is our table," Izzy came to them, smiling, still holding Hana's hand.
"Oh sorry, uhm we actually had it reserved for today...I think?" Seungmin said, not quite sure himself, looking at his friends for some help.
"Yeah, I know," Izzy nodded. "I reserved it for you when my friend," she moved her eyes to Hana to make sure they knew what's going on. "Nicely asked me to, so she could meet her soulmate."
"And we made sure she wouldn't come alone," Riley nodded, placing her hand on Hana's shoulder. Hana sighed, wishing to be everywhere but there.
"Hey..." Hana muttered, looking at Seungmin. Her S. She smiled, Seungmin starting to panic right away, moving everyone so they could sit too, making sure Hana could be next to him.
"Hi," he rubbed the back of his neck, moving closer to Changbin to give her more space for sitting.
Izzy walked to a different table to get herself a chair once everyone was sat down, but Jisung refused to let her do that, he took the chair himself, letting her sit at his original place now next to Riley. He put the chair next to Izzy, looking at Changbin and Chan, who were sitting next to each other, both of them staring somewhere else, not taking their eyes off of Riley and Astran. Jisung chuckled, looking for Jeongin. He was nowhere to find. He noticed his place being empty and turned around, seeing him with Amy.
"Can we go out for a minute? I want to talk to you," Amy said, Jeongin nodding. They walked out of the café, Amy not stopping until she made sure none of her friends could see them.
"I really like your dress by the way," Jeongin commented, making Amy smile.
"Thank you," she said right away, adding the fact she thinks his sense of style is really great. "I uhm... I think I know who your soulmate is." Amy shook her head to get back to normal, her back now straight to show her confidence.
"Really?" Jeongin asked, almost as a reflex, looking at his arm. "How?"
"I believe it's me. Of course there might be this small chance that I am wrong, but I doubt it."
"Wait, what?" He asked, again. "Do you have a pen?" Amy nodded, giving him a pen she always carries in her purse. "Then...we should just try and see, no?"
"That would be the best,"
Jeongin took the pen, stopping for a minute, thinking about what to write. When he got it, he started scribing on his arm, a text slowly appearing on Amy's hand too. 'You're gorgeous'
Amy had to smile, showing him her hand so he could see she got his text. "Thank you, handsome." She chuckled. "About our yesterday's conversation..."
While Amy and Jeongin were still talking outside, Jisung got into conversation with Izzy.
Riley, Astran, Chan and Changbin talking in a small group, while Hana tried to avoid Seungmin's eye contact.
"Do you want anything?" He asked Hana, also being nervous.
"I'll probably just take a coffee once we'll be leaving. I have to leave before lunch."
"Right, the babysitting. Who are you looking after?"
"Five years old twins. Girls," Hana answered with a smile on her face. That smile made Seungmin a lot more comfortable, showing him he is back to normal. The normal that makes her laugh.
"Hana," Seungmin started, getting her attention again. This time, even managing to hold eye contact with her. "I am glad that it's you."I am glad that it's you. I am glad that it's you. I am glad that it's you. I am glad that it's you. I am glad that it's you. I am glad that it's you. These words continued to repeat in Hana's head. He was glad that it was her.
Hana smiled, blushing immediately, not sure what to say. She ended up hiding her face in her hands, Seungmin chuckling at her cuteness. "Shut up," she muttered into her hands, Seungmin barely hearing her.
Astran found himself staring at Changbin's arms. Maybe he was his soulmate, maybe it was Chan. Or maybe it was Jisung. They all looked like they go to the gym often. Changbin's arms were however the best looking in his opinion. From all of them he would guess him as the person who spends time at the gym the most.
Astran spent a good amount of time just observing these three, trying to guess who could be his soulmate. From time to time he always reminded himself that he might still be wrong and none of these guys were their soulmate, but the slight possibility, that one of them could have been his soulmate, kept him going.
"What about your soulmates?" Astran started asking the right questions, making both Changbin and Chan to look at each other. Almost as if they forgot they have one. "How is it looking like?"
"I don't know," Chris glanced at Riley, as if he was telling her she has a chance. Riley quickly made that thought of hers go away, reminding herself she doesn't like him. Definitely not. "I would say we're great actually," he chuckled, now looking at Astran as it was his question.
"That's right," Changbin nodded, agreeing with his elder. "I told him I am going on this double date, or whatever it is, before coming here to make sure they don't mind," he assured them, Astran smiling immediately. Got him.
The only thing Astran could think about at the moment was how handsome, and small, his soulmate actually is.
