Daddy's Little Girl

Chapter 2

I look at the clock 10:45pm. Wow, the day went faster than I expected considering all that I did today was take in and sort the stock. Working night shifts is always a boring, lonely and quiet job. The shop is never busy this time of night. The mixing of the slushy machine and the squeaking of the automatic doors are giving me a headache so I took a box a Paracetamol, ripped them open and swallowed down a handful, then i sat back in a chair and read the newspaper.

"Daddy, daddy" echoed a voice in the distance.

I recognized the voice instantly, it was Aprils.

"Honey where are you?" I shouted back looking in all directions but seeing only darkness.

"Daddy I need you, help me Daddy, you have to find me" the voice became louder.

"I won't stop looking for you baby...I love you, but you need to tell me where you are. Who took you?" I begged hoping for an answer.

"Mommy has a secret....Chuck" the voice became faint again.

"I don't understand. What is it?" I shouted back. 

"Chuck...Chuck" this time it sounded like Kate.

"Ahhhh" I screamed as I fell back off my chair.

"Chuck you fell asleep" she said as a smile crept across her face.

"What are you doing here?" I asked confused.

"I just wanted to check in on you and I also brought you some sandwich's because I thought you'd be hungry" she said as if she was trying to persuade me about something.

"OK thanks, but since your already here why don't you stay for a while" I suggested hoping she would say yes because i hate being alone.

"I guess I could stay for a couple of hours" Kate smiled as she handed me the sandwich's.

"Right how about I turn off the camera's, you go pick out some wine and i'll meet you in the back with the sandwich's" I said taking control.

"That sounds good to me Hun" she replied as she headed in the direction of the alcohol.

I went into the back disabled the inside camera, opened the sandwich's and then positioned myself for when Kate enters the room. The door swung open and standing in the doorway was Kate who had unbuttoned her blouse and was holding the bottle to her chest smiling.

"Get in here you" I said staring at her in amazement.

Kate entered the room walking slowly towards me. I stood up to meet her half way and then firmly pressed her against my body as I began kissing her neck. Then she walked to the small desk and placed the bottle on top of it, while i shut the door.
