"I'm back again" John chuckled as he opened the cell.
I stood up and walked over to him.
"Inspector Sarah is ready to see you now" he said as he led me back down the corridor.
Hopefully I will never have to enter that cell again I thought to myself. As I walked down the corridor I couldn't help but look into the other cells. In one of them I could see a women crouched in a corner, suddenly she looked up and caught my glare. That women looked worse than I did. In another cell was a man banging his fist against a wall in anger. We reached the end of the corridor and went around a corner. Straight away I saw the brown door. John opened the door and walked in a head of me.
"Look familiar" John said jokingly.
I walked in to be greeted once again by Inspector Sarah Parker.
"So we meet again" Sarah said trying to deepen her voice which made John laugh.
Sarah quickly straightened herself then sat down. John gave Sarah a glance and then realized by her facial expressions and her hand gestures that she wanted him to leave, so he did. She then turned her attention to me.
"Can I know whats happening" I asked trying to get straight to the point.
"Well we have spoken to James, your manager and your neighbours and everything they said checks out. She said showing no expression on her face.
"What does that mean" I asked confused.
"It means you can go home because we found an outside camera that was not turned off, which proved you never left the shop between the hours Kate was murdered. So we are allowing you to leave the premises and we shall carry out the investigation further" Sarah replied with a smile breaking out on her face.
"Oh thank God, i'm finally allowed to go home" I said with a sigh of relief.
"No Mr. Randal you can can collect a few things and then you will have to stay with a friend or family member because forensics are still searching your house. This means your house will be out of bounds for a couple of days" Sarah replied sternly.
"Oh OK i'll stay with a mate then" I answered a little excited because I was finally allowed to leave.
John entered the room once again.
"John will escort you out off the building and i'll keep in touch to inform you about the investigation OK" she said standing up and then walked to the door.
John lead me through a few more corridors which finally lead to the exit.
"Well goodbye Chuck I knew you'd get out out of this and hopefully i'm not going to be seeing you back here again" he said in a tone i've never heard before.
"Yeah i'll try stay out of trouble" I replied, then gave him a smirk and began walking down the steps.
