"Are you my Daddy?" Aprils faint voice appeared again.

I will always be your Daddy, no matter what anyone says" I answered trying to keep the tears back again.

"Daddy, mommy's gone" she sounded scared and upset.

"I know baby, but its going to be OK, just tell me where you are " I asked once again hoping I would get a straight answer.

This time it wasn't dark. I was in Ramsay park, but there were no children, the park was completely empty. I watched as the brown, orange and yellow leaves were falling to the ground and then the wind would lift them back up and scatter the leaves in every direction. This was my favourite thing about Autumn, the colours. I turned and noticed the swing, it began moving, swaying back and forth getting faster each time. I could imagine April laughing as I pushed her this was her favorite thing in the world. I brought her here everyday after school, then we would go get ice-cream. Finally I would put her on my shoulders and then walk home. Kate would have our dinner ready and waiting for us on the the table. We both used to pretend we were hungry and eat as much as we could so we wouldn't get in trouble, this applied for me as well even though i'm not the child.

"Daddy push me" Aprils voice shouted excitedly.

"I can't....I can't see you" I replied as I fell to the ground not able to hold my tears back any longer.

"Don't cry daddy, i'll clean up your mess, your going to be ok" the voice whispered in my ear. I looked back but no one was there.

For no reason at all I stood up and began walking to the monkey-bars as if I was being controlled. Something was hanging from it. As I got closer i realized it was a locket. I unwound the locket from the bar and held it in one hand. The locket was small preferably for a child and it looked and felt as if it was pure gold. I opened it up carefully trying not to break it.

"What the fuck is going on" I shouted in annoyance as I looked down at the picture in the locket to see a man looking down smiling at April while she hugged him. I couldn't see his face but what I did see was his arms were wrapped around her.

"Get your arms off my daughter" I screamed at the picture.

Everything was going through my mind at once like Who is he? Why is April hugging him? Does this locket belong to April? How did this get here? Was it left for me to find?" my head began hurting from all of the questions.

"I can't deal with all of this" I screamed throwing the locket as far as possible. Aprils laugh is playing over and over in my head, as if she's mocking me.
