Chapter 20: Divine Beast Rudania

Links POV

Im sitting in my room ,with Sidon reading a book, thinking about what we will be doing today. We had already got the go ahead from the Goron boss that we can go up to Rudania so that we can remember Daruk. The one problem is Rudania is at very top off death mountain so it will be very hot so i doubt we'll go extremely close to it but as long me and Zelda have our fireproof clothes and Sidon has his elixirs we'll all be fine.

"Are you ok my love?" I hear a smooth velvety voice say behind me. I smile instantly knowing who it was and he wraps his strong arms around my slender waist "Im ok just thinking about today and how we're going to see Rudania." I say to him turning around to steal a kiss. "I know you can't resist me but we do have company darling so maybe we can save this for later," he said whispering the last bit in my ear which causes me to blush completely forgetting what he just said "wait company?" I say confused i don't remember anyone coming in i guess i was too lost in thought.

"Yes, i came to check on you guys around half an hour ago to see when what time you were planning to leave but when i came here you were staring into your notebook and Sidon said it was best to leave you." Zelda piped up and then made her way over from the chair in the corner of the room.

I hugged her with a smile plastered over both of our faces glad that were talking again. "Ok i was planning to leave at 10:45 (AM) and spend about a few hours there and then we can talk to Bludo about what he would like to see from us in the future then we can get some rest before we go to that dinner party Bludo invited us to." I say before i whisper "and we wont be resting" to Sidon before smirking seeing his cheeks go bright pink.

We made our way up there and set a little area down where we would eat and talk. I made sure there was no monsters before we settled down. Me and Zelda talked about our best memories of Daruk and because Sidon didn't really know him, he just sat and listened to the stories that were being told. 'He was so interested and he was being extremely cute he looked like a little kid listening to us. Just how he would look at Mipha when she was telling him something' I thought to myself making my facial expressions unconsciously turn more sad and Sidon notices this and pulls me close and gives me a hug.

I feel bad though because I'm not upset about Daruk I'm upset about Mipha of course I'm upset that all of them died but we're supposed to be thinking and remembering Daruk at the moment. I shake all of my thoughts out of my head and lean into Sidon's hug and i feel him stroke my hair with his big hands.
