Chapter 33: WHAT IN HYLIA!

Sidon's POV

They rush me over to the infirmary to see a little baby Zora and... "Link?" I mumbled "Yes we found him at the bridge holding this baby but there is no sign of Princess Zelda anywhere." The guard said I rushed in and knelt next to him he was covered in wounds and dirt. "Sidon!" He mumbled with a panicked expression on his face "Help!" I knew he was having a nightmare so i stroked his hair and shushed him. His heartbeat soon became slower and he looked more calm, i kissed him on the forehead and then his eyes opened "Sidon? Where am i?" He signed looking very confused "Link! Your back in the domain, we found you outside of the gates." I said hugging him tightly "come on my love lets get you cleaned up." I said picking him up and out from the infirmary taking him to my chambers, I shifted him into one arm so I could open my door and saw Yona sleeping 'I forgot about her.' I thought to myself. I shut the door and made my way to the spare room, I shut the door behind me and locked it "Link what happened you supposed to spend the next 2 days in Rito with Riju and Zelda." I said sitting down next to him "Who was that in your room? Do you not want me here?" He asked i felt overwhelmed by his questions so i gently pulled him onto my lap "Sweetheart of course I want you here with me it's the only thing i ever wanted but my father has.." i started sobbing and Link hugged me before rearranging himself so that his legs where either side of my thighs. "He has arranged me to get married to the Zora in my room and I told him i want to be with you but he cant stop it." Link started sobbing too "wait." I stopped and lifted his chin so i could look into his face "You found a baby Zora?" I said so happy but so sad, "ye I thought we could raise her together but we went through some struggles with the Lizalfos and im scared she wont make it." Link finished making him cry more.

Once we had calmed down i took him to the bathroom and ran him a bath and let him clean himself up whilst I figured out what to do with the Yona situation. I see Link exit the bathroom in Zora armour "You look so beautiful baby." I say walking over to him, i kiss him on the head and he blushes "Im going to be back soon don't leave your chambers." He said and leads me to my own room and then runs away, i didn't want to disobey him but then Yona came up behind me and hugged me. "Shall we walk around the Domain?" She asked opening the door.

Link's POV

I make my way over to the throne room and request to speak to him in private "Link? What are you doing here in the Domain?" He asked shocked that i was standing in front of him "Ive come to request that you let Sidon choose who he loves." I say looking at Dorephan sternly "I will give him 2 days with Yona and then he can choose who he loves more." I say on the verge of tears "Please Dorephan i cant lose Sidon too." My voice breaking after i say his name "Ok fine i will take you up on your offer but you cant sleep with Sidon no contact you must stay with Zelda."He says and i nod and leave the throne room to see Sidon and Yona laughing at Mipha's statue very close to each other 'Link pull yourself together you're going to have to get used to this' i say to myself when i see Zelda and Riju walk down the bridge "LINK THANK GOD YOUR HERE AND ALIVE!" Zelda screams and runs up to hug me causing Sidon and Yona turn to look at us as i break down in Zelda's arms.

"Link whats wrong?" She whispers into my hair "I cant see Sidon with 2 days, I made a deal with the King." I signed and sobbed more "I need to talk to you now" i sign quicker and i pull her away when i see Riju talking to Sidon and i drop to the floor in sobs and I see a red figure come towards me and pick me up "Sidon leave me alone please." I begged him he was making this so much harder "No." he simply said taking me to his chambers with Zelda, Riju... and Yona following "SIDON LET ME DOWN AND GO AND SPEAK TO YOUR FATHER IMMEDIATELY!" I yelled at him and Zelda stood in front of him blocking his path.

"Sidon go and sit in front of Miphas statue with Riju but don't go to your father until i have sorted this out" she said in the strict princess voice that I've always admired. Sidon sets me down and i walk with Zelda to a spare room and explained everything to her. "Oh Link I'm sorry." She said hugging me "We have to tell Sidon." She says pulling away from our hug and i nod 'can you?' I sign to her and she nodded.

We walk to Mipha's statue and see Riju talking to Sidon and Yona talking to Bazz. We asked Sidon and Riju to follow us and talk about Links recent outburst "So Sidon you know how your father arranged you and Yona to be wed, well Link went to him this morning and requested a proposition that you and Yona will get to know each other over the span of 2 days and then choose who you loved and your dad agreed but he also added that you cant have any contact with Link." Zelda said when we got to a room "NO WAY, Link I love you but i am not doing this!" Sidon screamed making my eyes tear "Sidon please it's the only way to convince your dad to call of the marriage." I say to him in tears again and he sat next to me and hugged me "ok then" he said hesitantly and we stayed like that for a while. Then he was called to the throne room by his father and he reluctantly left my side knowing it would be a while since he saw me again.
