Dad let me have the next day off as I still wasn't feeling up well enough for school, I mean, who is? But today is Friday and I have to go because of the fact that today is the school swimming carnival and if I don't attend, I'll get in heaps of trouble and I can't afford for that to happen. Only thing is, I have a fear of large crowds and large pools of water...

"Hey Lils," Uncle Tom said, pulling the car up to the front of school.

"I know you don't want to do this sweetie but there's nothing I can do. I don't want you to get in trouble and plus, I have meetings all day and your dad and BMTH have their own tour meetings and can't take you with them." He continued, looking at me sympathetically.

"But if you need anything and I mean anything at all, you call one of us straight away and we'll be right here. I promise." I nodded, slowly climbing out of the car.

"I love you Lils." He told me sympathetically before I could close the car door.

"I love you too Uncle Tom." I said back to him, waving and shutting the car door behind me.

*Time skip to the pool*

"Girls 14 year's, your relay is about to start, please take your positions at the diving blocks." I hear Mr. Barlow, our sports teacher, call over the microphone.

I start to panic. This is my event.

I can't do this.

I reach for my phone to find it not in my pocket.

I start to panic more.

"Looking for this nerd?" I hear Taylor, the schools head mean girl, ask. I look up to see her standing in front of me in a bright pink, very revealing, bikini, holding my phone with a smirk on her face.

"Can I please have it back?" I ask shyly, looking at the wet ground of the poolside.

"Oh, of course you can!" She says with an evil smirk on her face, holding out her hand that holds my phone.

"But you'll have to swim for it."

As I go to reach for my phone, she throws it to the side of her and it lands in the pool in one swift movement. I try to catch it before it lands in the pool, but it's too late. I watch and it sinks to the bottom of the pool. I hear what sounds like the whole school laughing at me. I start to tear up. I can't take this anymore. As I'm about to turn around and walk away, I feel arms grab at me.

"Are you deaf or something nerd, I said swim for it."

I feel myself being pushed, next minute I'm surrounded by water. I start to panic, gasping for air but it's no use. My lungs start to take in water. This is it. I'm done for.
