Chapter 12

**I've changed my idea a little and decided to go with a shopping centre (mall) instead of a theme park. Once you read on you'll understand that it doesn't really matter where they are, the drama is going to happen anyway. Thank you for waiting so long and I hope this is a good enough chapter to make up for it.**

*Skipping until a little after the plane trip*

Lily's POV

The rest of the plane ride was fine. There was a little turbulence towards the end but we all got through it safely. Thank God! Right now we're at a shopping centre (mall) in Brisbane because SOMEONE forgot to pack summer clothing...Nicholls...

"Okay, how about Nicholls you go with Vegan and Tom to find what you need and the rest of us will head in this direction to have a look around and we'll all meet up in an hour at the food court. Sound good?" Jordan suggested, pointing in the direction of where the rest of us were about to head off in.

"Sounds good to me!" Nicholls cheered, pulling Vegan away from our little group.

*15 minutes later* (sorry for all the time skips)

Dad, Jordan, Lee and I are currently in a store call City Beach, (A/N I totally worked there for a while) looking at swim wear because Dad said it would be fun to go to the beach while we're here but none of us packed any swimmers.

"How about these ones Lil?" Jordan asked holding up what looked to be the tiniest bikini I've ever seen in my life.

"Really Jordan? That's my daughter you're talking to." Dad said while scrunching up his face in disgust.

"Sorry mate, I wasn't thinking about the size of it, I just liked the pattern." Jordan said back, disappointed.

"It's okay Jordan, I like the pattern too, but maybe on something not so revealing." I said, giggling to myself.

"Hey Jellybean, I found a one piece in that pattern!" I hear Lee say cheerfully. Handing it over to me, my eyes go wide at how beautiful it is.

(I literally went on the City Beach website to find the swimmers below. There were a few really nice ones but I thought these ones would suit Lily as my character. You can picture her wearing what you think she would look good in but I really liked these ones :) )

Quickly my smile disappears

Quickly my smile disappears. These swimmers are so beautiful, but they won't look as good on me. I think to myself.

"What's wrong? Don't you like them?" Lee asks.

"Of course I do. I love them. It's just, I don't think they would look good on me." I say back quietly, turning around to put them back on the rack.

"Hey!" Dad says quickly. "Don't knock it 'till you try it, babygirl. "  He continues, putting the swimmers back into my hands and pushing me into the direction of the change rooms.

"But-" I start to protest.
"No buts, babygirl. Try it on. If you don't like it, then we'll just find another pair." He says back, reassuring me.

"Okay." I say reluctantly walking into a free change room.

You can do this Lily. Just put it on quickly, see how it feels and then take it off and forget it even happened.
I say to myself.

Once I take off my clothes (keeping my underwear on underneath because that's just gross, ya nasty) and put the one piece swimmers on, I turn around to look in the mirror.

Wow. I love them! They fit perfectly!

I get so excited that I forget where I am and open the door to the change room to show dad the final look.

"Dad, do you wanna see?" I ask before looking up into the direction of where he was standing when I first went into the change rooms.

"Well, well, well. Look what the cat dragged in." I hear as I slowly look up from adjusting the strap of the swimmers.

"Taylor?" I ask shocked.

"You guessed it bitch. What the heck are you doing in Australia? I thought your stupid family was too poor to go anywhere, judging on the way you dress yourself everyday. " She sneers back at me, taking a step towards me.

"I- I um -" I stutter, not wanting her to find out the real reason I'm here. The people at school - beside the principle - don't know that my Dad and his friends are in a well known band and I would like to keep it that way.

"Save it you little shit. Why are you in here trying on clothes you know your fat ass can't fit into. I think you're in the wrong store. The plus size clothes are next door." She sneers.

Don't cry Lily, you get this kind of thing from her everyday. You should be use to it by now. don't give her the satisfaction of seeing you upset.  I say to myself.

"Hey Lils, do they fit?" I hear Dad say as he comes around the corner. "Sorry I walked away because Jordan insisted on showing me somethi- " He stops what he's saying as he sees me looking scared and about to cry.

"Lily, what's wrong?" He starts.

"OH MY GOD, YOU'RE OLIVER SYKES! I LOVE YOUR BAND! OH MY GOD!" Taylor screeches out, almost jumping on my Dad in pure excitement.

"Uh, hi there." Dad says awkwardly looking from me to her. "Do you know each other or something?" He asks.

"Yeah, she's the one that-" I say quietly, but get cut off by Taylor before I can finish.
"Yeah, We're best friends!" She lies. "How do you know each other?" She asks, trying to put the pieces together.

"I'm her-"
"We don't-"

Dad and I both say at the same time. I give him a look as if to say, 'Don't tell her anything'.

"Jellybean! Show me the swimmers! I wanna see!" I hear Nicholls yell out. Well I guess we were taking longer than I thought.

"Wait, Jellybean? Lils? What the heck! How do you know Bring Me The Horizon?" Taylor asks me, folding her arms across her chest, finally realising that there's something going on.

Dad stands back silently, assessing the situation, putting everything together.

"Wait a minute. You're the girl that pushed Lily into the pool. You're the girl that makes my daughter's school life a living hell." Dad starts, finally figuring it all out.

"Dad sto-" I try to tell him but he just cuts me off.

"No Lily, you can't let her get to you." He says, quickly turning back to look at Taylor. "You should be ashamed of yourself. What you do to my daughter on a daily basis is not okay. I can only imagine how many other people you do it to as well."

While all this is going down, I slowly start to walk back into the change room to take off the swimmers. I just want to go back to the hotel. After what she said about me in these swimmers, I don't even want to get them anymore, no matter how much I love them.
Vegan sees me backing away into the change room and comes over to me before I can shut the door.

"Hey Lils. I really love these swimmers, I think you should get them." He says to me, trying to make the situation better.

"I don't know Vegan, I don't think they suit me." I say quietly, looking down at my bare feet.

"Did she say something to you about them?" He asks.

"Well..." I start saying.

"Well, I think you look beautiful and they fit you perfectly. C'mon, it doesn't matter what people like her think. It's the people who love and care about you that you should worry about and their opinions. And I can bet that everyone out there that loves you, thinks that you look beautiful and that you should get them." He tells me quietly, tying not to draw attention to our little conversation but everyone knows nothing gets past Matt Nicholls...

"Vegan's right you know Lils, don't worry about that prissy girl out there. She's got nothing on you." He says grinning at me, making me smile and blush. "C'mon put your clothes back on and I'll buy them for you, special treat." He says grinning at me.

"Okay." I say turning around and taking the few steps into the change rooms and closing the door. After changing back into my normal clothes, I open the door to find Dad leaning up against the door way of an empty change room.

"Hey babygirl, sorry about all of that, but that little bitch had to be told." He says to me grinning, while taking the swimmers out of my hands to carry for me.

"What happened after I walked away? Where did she go?" I ask, worried that she'll come back for another go at me.

"I wouldn't worry about her. She said something along the lines of 'wait until my father hears about this' and then she stormed out." He says, mocking Taylor's voice. Which made me laugh because of how accurate it was.

"Now lets get out of here so we can go have some fun at the beach shall we." He says walking over to the rest of the group near the check out. Handing over the swimmers to Nicholls who insisted on paying for them for me.

What a fuss just for some swimmers.

How was that???
I was originally going to have Taylor run into Lily at Wet n Wild and tell her she looked gross in her swimsuit but I then I came up with this scene, when she's actually trying the swimmers on.

Tell me how you like it!
