The Blue Lock training camp was a whirlwind of emotions, rivalries, and intense soccer action. As the only female player in the midst of aspiring football legends, I had to prove myself every step of the way. And one person who made that challenge even more daunting was Shidou Ryusei.

With his striking appearance and a mischievous grin always playing on his lips, Shidou was a force to be reckoned with. His blond hair spiked up, framing his face, and his pink eyes held an almost feline allure. Shidou's eccentric personality, paired with his penchant for physical altercations, made him stand out even in a group of highly competitive athletes.

From the moment I joined Blue Lock, Shidou's flirtatious and unpredictable nature rubbed me the wrong way. His playboy reputation preceded him, and I couldn't help but feel a mixture of annoyance and wariness whenever he was around. I focused on honing my skills, determined to prove that gender had no bearing on my abilities.

On one fateful day, the field buzzed with electric energy as we engaged in a fierce practice match. The tension was palpable, and every player sprinted with determination towards the goal. I found myself locked in a one on one heated battle with Barou Shouei, each of us vying for control of the ball.

In the blink of an eye, fate intervened, casting a shadow over my hopes. As we both sprinted towards the goal, Barou, in his relentless pursuit, collided into me with a force that reverberated through my body. A searing pain shot through my leg, knocking the wind out of me. I crumpled to the ground, my injured limb throbbing with a sharp intensity.

Time seemed to slow as I clutched my leg, frustration and despair flooding my senses. The world around me became a blur, and I struggled to maintain my composure amidst the waves of agony threatening to consume me. The dreams I had nurtured, the aspirations I had chased, all felt distant and unattainable in that moment of excruciating pain.

As I lay there, a mix of emotions welled up within me. The frustration of being sidelined, the fear of setbacks, and the desperate longing to be back on the field ignited a fire within my heart. But amidst the turmoil, a glimmer of hope emerged.

To my surprise, it was Shidou who was the first to reach me. His joker-like grin was absent, replaced by genuine concern etched on his face. His pink eyes softened, revealing a depth I had not anticipated.

"(L/N), are you alright? That looked bad," he exclaimed, his voice laced with a sincerity that caught me off guard.

I struggled to find my voice, both from the pain and the shock of his genuine worry. "I-I don't know. It hurts," I managed to reply, my breaths coming out raggedly.

Without hesitation, Shidou summoned the medical staff, directing them to attend to my injury. As they worked to assess the damage, he stood by my side, his presence providing a surprising sense of comfort. In that moment, I realized that behind Shidou's eccentricities and playboy facade, there was a person capable of genuine concern and empathy.

Days turned into weeks as I embarked on a grueling journey of recovery. Throughout that time, Shidou surprised me at every turn. He would visit me during my rehabilitation sessions, cheering me on with an enthusiasm that was contagious. He would crack jokes, attempting to lighten the mood and ease the weight of my frustration.

As my strength slowly returned, Shidou insisted on joining me in training whenever he could. He pushed me to my limits, encouraging me to surpass my own expectations. Our banter on the field became a constant, the playful exchanges transforming into a unique language between us.

It was during one of these training sessions, as the setting sun bathed the field in a golden glow, that Shidou's mask finally slipped. With exhaustion etched on our faces, we found ourselves sitting side by side, catching our breath.
