Chapter 9: ceremony

-1 week later- at the ceremony

I am fully prepared. With Zixuan, I can't die. Hopefully.

"Welcome to the ceremony, Goddess, Gods and immortals! In the first round, you will spar with eachother with life and death. No I am just kidding, if the other one fell on the ground, the other one will win."

I can do this easily.

"First immortal: Hui Ying with Meng Yao!" 

The fight started. Within three hits, he was on the ground. Easy.

I fighted with 10845 people in Heavenly Realm. Nobody was my match. Until the next match came.

"The winner is Hui Ying! Next round, Hui Ying with Chuntao!" Shoot. Chuntao. She could use evil tricks of the Demonic Realm. Nobody knows about that..

She started attacking, and we were both strong. Until I stabbed her and she spit blood out and it came on my arm. Such a specific place. 

"That's poison! You should quit Hui Ying!" It was the Goddess again.

Poison? But I must win. She's the last one that duels me.

I continued with fighting. My arm started hurting. I saw Zixuan looking at me, worried. I think he knows what happend.

But I was lucky. He quickly pushed Chuntao a little bit and I grabbed my spear and pointed my spear to her. She was angry on the ground. What the fu-

"That's not fair! Hui Ying stabbed her! Chuntao should win!" One of her stupid maids said.

"Your Majesty, is poison allowed in this battle?" Zixuan asked to the Heavenly emperor.

"No, you cannot cast evil in this ceremony. But, Hui Ying won this round. Who said she can't stab?" 

"Your Majesty-" Chuntao said.

"Alright, prepare for the next round. Archery."

I started with the next round. My arm was still hurting from the poison. But I did won the next round.

"Last round, elegantly dancing!" That was okay. I kinda learned dancing when I was young.

All the girl started dancing in a circle. I guess I overestimated myself...I decided to follow them. But then they suddenly left me in the middle.

Why am I in the middle now? 

"I'll do it for you." It was the Goddess.

She started controlling my body, and it went smooth.

"And Hui Ying won again!!" The fairies and Goddesses brought me to Li Jie. He was smiling at the end of the hall. With beautiful clothes on.

He swayed his hand to my side. I took his hand.

"You did great job, Hui Ying."

"You know I did this only for you?" I smiled at him. I almost forgot my injury.

"As I promised, a better gift. Just for you." He made a jade crown with his own divine powers. Is he..

"Li Jie, you-"

"Hui Ying. Do you, want to be my beautiful queen?" I slowly nodded.

He bowed his head towards mine and kissed me.

"You are now officially a Goddess, happy?"

"Thank you, Li Jie."

"No need to thank me. I love you, Hui Ying." 

"I'll go to my room now. See you." I gotta heal my arm first.

"Alright. Bye."
