Chapter 17: Devil God

"Zixuan, are you-" Imperial guards came.

"Halt! This Demon needs to come with us!" The guards said.

"She is not a demon. Who are you working for? Us right? Now listen to our orders!" Zixuan said.

The guards were circling around me. 

"It's the Emperor's order! You cannot go against it!" The guards pointed their spears to me.

And Li Jie grabbed his sword. "If you want to have her, you have to go against me."

"Your Highness-" And Zixuan and Li Jie started fighting against them. At this point, I am feeling guilty. These two are fighting for me, and I am doing nothing.

I saw that Li Jie's powers are exhausting. But I cannot show my demonic power here..

The guards came in bigger groups. 

Hui Ying...what are you thinking? You wanted vengeance, yet you are doing nothing. Those immortals..

My Demonic energy started growing and started flowing around me.

I understand now. The two Goddesses were right. If I am angry or sad, the Demonic energy started showing up again. But I don't care now. As long as my grandfather can rest in peace, when I killed them all, I could rest in peace too.

"Hui Ying, don't overcontrol yourself! You cannot kill him now with your current state!"

When I grabbed my spear, nobody can stop me. I stabbed all the imperial guards with my spear. The were all lying on the ground before me. I was left with several injuries, but I will still kill the Heavenly emperor.

I still have hope of my grandfather.

"Hui Ying, your grandfather is already living in peace, don't go to far." He would say. But this time, only this time I won't listen to him. I have two good friends by my back, that can guard me and protect me.

I walked slowly to the Heavenly Hall, where the Heavenly emperor just sat down reading. 

My spear was full of Heavenly guards's blood. And I pointed my spear to his head.

He looked up to me and didn't care at all.

"You are still a young woman, you are not strong at all." And I rushed to him. He put a strong barrier around him. He did recover after my grandfather died. I started piercing my spear in that barrier, and put all my strength in it.

"Do not only work with your body, but also with your mind." Li Jie said. I didn't knew he would come with me. He was injured gravely.

"Li Jie, don't worry about me. Go rest a bit. I will kill this murderer." And Zixuan rushed and helped me. The barrier broke a bit. And I looked at Zixuan.

"Zixuan! Are you also ganging up with this evil Goddess? No, evil lowly maid?" And he broke the barrier and hurted Zixuan with just his hand. This emperor is surely something different.

"Zixuan!" And he felt down. While I was holding his back. Li Jie also rushed.

"Go." Li Jie said. I know what that would mean.

The emperor wanted to strike the two again, but I will let that never happen. He wasn't carefull enough and I stabbed him once with my spear.

He moved his hand a bit and I felt also on the ground. I spit blood out but that would never stop me.

I rushed again, and used the Demonic energy of the Devil God. And the emperor felt on the ground.

"You did it. You controlled the Devil God." That was my grandfather's voice. But I wasn't also carefull enough. He teleported and stabbed me, with my own spear. Right through my heart.

"Your Highness!" A sharp needle came very fast in the emperor's eyes.

Si Ying. Si Ying would still care about me. And also Li Jie, and Zixuan..

"Hui Ying..." Zixuan still hesitated to talk. 

"Zixuan, don't..talk.." Si Ying checked my pulse.

"Chuntao, go bring Hui Ying back to Demonic Realm." Li Jie said.

"Yes." And she brought me back as fast as possible.

Zixuan

I won't let her die this fast. Although we can't live together forever, I still can protect her. 

"Li Jie, let me go. I will go to Hui Ying."

"Zixuan, don't-" But I won't listen to my brother this time. 

"Brother, I know you love your father. But he must be punished too for killing the Ancestral God."

"Punish?"

"Guards, listen to my orders!" I said.

"是！ " 

"The Heavenly Emperor as you all saw, killed the Ancestral God. He will be gravely punished! He will go in jail and lose all his divine essence. After that, he can't barely walk anymore."

The guards agreed with me and dragged him away.

"LI JIE! ZIXUAN! YOU WILL GET KARMA ONE DAY!" And he was gone.

I immediatly got to Hui Ying.

"Hui Ying-" But she was nowhere to be found.

"Hui Ying!" My injuries were still here. But I don't care about them. I know exactly where Hui Ying is. Demonic Realm.

I traveled all the way there, and my powers were exhausted.

"Hui Ying.." I stopped at the wall.

"Zixuan!"

"Your powers are almost gone. All those years..just for cultivation. Find it sad?" A strange voice came through my head.

"Who are you?! Why are you in my head?!" Demonic aura. Is this..the Devil God?

"You're right. I am indeed the scary Devil God. But I love killing people like you, they would offer their life just for their beloved ones."

Within a second, he came right in my heart.

Powerfull Demonic powers were crushing my heart.

"You are a dying man. Although you think we are totally different, we have one thing in common. We love Hui Ying."

"Zixuan! Don't let the Devil God control you!"

This body is indeed something interesting..although all his powers is all gone..I can still walk normally.

"Hui Ying, after all those years you could have controlled me. But remember, I can also control someone else."

She seemed scared. Scared, for me. Why though? I swore on the Ancestral God, that Hui Ying will be mine. But how did the Ancestral God disappear? He can't die. It must be a false trick.

"A-Are you..the Devil God?"

I smirked. "Don't be scared. I won't harm you." I came closer to her.
