Chapter 3: never ever

I really think that Li Jie is a silly one, yet I do feel his pain inside him.

I hugged him. I also don't really know why I did that. Then he slowly put his hands on my back. I don't know why, but I do feel connections between us. Or maybe I'm jealous again that I'm single for now and he had a girl.

I do feel that this is wrong. So I slowly put my hands down. But he didn't.

"Li Jie, you can stop now." I said.

"You two really seem alike. I just want to hug you." Silly. He's seeing me as his girl.

"Li Jie, you-" He suddenly looked at my lips. Too bad, I hope he won't kiss me...

Then he closed his eyes and came forward with his face. And I pushed him away.

"Li Jie, I am not the girl that you miss. It is wrong to see me as another person. I do hope that you will understand one day that you cannot revive her from the dead." This wasn't right. I had to stop his obsession with her.

"Oh, yeah shi- sorry. Sorry. I'll go." And he left immediatly without saying goodbye. 

It was months ago that I lastly spoke to him. He didn't came to visit me. I didn't either. Could he...or is he ignoring me? I do think I should pay him a visit.

I came all the way to his silent realm. Kinda strange, I don't see any guards. I walked to his office. The floor was made out of glass, and you could hear my loud footsteps.

"谁?" He asked. (who)

That's bad, he doesn't know that I am the one visiting him. Could it be the reason why no guards are there at the gate? No. That is a dumb reason.

Then he took a glance to look to me. 

"Li Jie, it's me-" He quickly build a barrier around me.

"You are not allowed to enter my silent realm. And for you, it's Your Highness." Your Highness? He's really changed in a few months. Really weird. 

"Li Jie, I only didn't visited you for a few months and yet you are acting like this? Why?" I could feel that I am getting emotional. But I held my tears back.

"You should go back then." He said. He's really heartless.

"I came here all the way just for you! I haven't reached the phase where I could fly easily from place to place so I used my divine essence to fly all the way to here! And now I'm injured and you don't even want to see me..." That's it. I couldn't held my tears.

"Hui Ying. Leave. Now."

"May I ask something?"

"Go ahead then."

This is the question that always has been stuck in my head. "Have you ever liked me? Just a little bit?"

"From of the moment that you saved me, to the time I brought you to Heavenly Realm, till you confronted me to atleast have a little hope for the world?"

That was a question. Shoot.

"Never ever." Those two words did really hurt. Never ever. That is the only thing that could break my heart. I thought he did like me a little bit. I thought he could help me, with cultivation. Never thought the God of War is this heartless.

"Now leave. Immediatly. Leave Heavenly Realm. Go back to your sect." I am not his slave, not his pawn, not his maid and not his dog.

I decided to damage my divine essence and broke through the barrier.

"Impossible-" I immediatly rushed to him, wiped my tears and put my hands around his waist. I quickly kissed him on the lips. And when he wanted to kiss me back, I let go and runned away with injuries.
