Chapter 2

Severus woke up to the feeling of a small person on his chest. Harry. "Papa!" Harry exclaimed as he saw that Severus was up. "Good morning Harry." Severus said groggily before planting a kiss on Harry's cheek which Harry giggled at.

Severus could see the light creeping out the windows which was a sign he should probably get up. Severus sat up and grabbed Harry. He figured he could get them both ready at the same time so it would be quicker.

He walked into the bathroom and realized how huge it was. The countertops were light gray and there was a huge shower/bath tub. Severus had come inside the bathroom the previous night to brush his teeth but didn't fully take in how big it was compared to the one in his dormitory.

Severus snapped out of his trance and placed Harry down on the counter. He found a smaller toothbrush specifically made for children. He squeezed some toothpaste on it and gave the toothbrush to Harry.

"Now Harry, do you know how to brush your teeth?" Severus asked and Harry shook his head, No. "Okay then, watch me brush my teeth and copy what I do. Severus pulled out his own tooth brush and brushed his teeth slowly for Harry to acknowledge.

Thankfully Harry was what seemed to be a quick learner and catched on fairly quickly. "Good job Harry." Severus smiled. Goodness I wonder what my future self is thinking, I mean he has no idea where his child is.

What? Since when was Severus thinking that Harry was actually his child. Severus knew that's what the boy thought at least but he didn't expect himself to actually believe it. "Papa?" Harry asked with concern on his face. "Sorry, just thinking." Severus said.

Severus finished getting the both of them ready he gave Harry a bath before giving himself a shower. Thankfully the house elves went to his dorm and brought all his things here. Since it was December it was very cold out so Severus picked a sweater and some slacks for Harry.

He himself wore a gray and green sweater that was supposed to be the Slytherin colors. Severus had purposely gotten ready slower so that he got into the Great Hall at the same time as everyone else so then no one would notice him.

He also knew that no matter how fast or slow he got ready everyone would know by this afternoon that he was taking care of Harry. This was certain since Dumbledore said he was going to announce it today at breakfast.

But the worst part is that Dumbledore also was probably not going to tell that Harry was from the future, so people would be incredibly rude saying that he got knocked up by some random person. Which wasn't true. Kind of.

Severus stepped out of the portrait hole, surprised to see Lily waiting for him. "Oh, hello Lily." Lily reached her arms out to carry Harry which he accepted. Lily seemed to love children, and especially loved the fact that she would be his aunt in the boy's future.

Lily started rambling on about all the places she was going to show Harry in the castle and outside the castle.

Soon they reached the door to the Great Hall. Severus sighed while Lily gave him an empathetic look before handing Harry back. "Meet me in the courtyard as soon as you're done eating." She said as Severus walked to his respected table.

Even though Severus purposely got ready slower so he could avoid stares he still got so many. He heard the room go quiet and turn into only whispers. Harry himself was looking around, confused at all the stares the were getting.

Severus sat at the seat nearest to the teacher's table. Like always he was all alone but not really since he still had Harry. He began making a plate for Harry, Severus himself wasn't hungry and lost his appetite due to the anxious feeling in his stomach.
