As James walked out of the Library he looked back to make sure no one was watching before running. He ran all the way to the Gryffindor Common room. Just as he suspected Sirius was waiting for him in the dormitory, with his hands on his hips.
"Where have you been? We've been waiting this entire time to see if you and that greasy haired git are the boy's fathers." Sirius glared. "Now Padfoot, settle down." Said Remus, grabbing Sirius' arm and sitting him down.
James didn't know what to say, goodness Sirius would never want to talk to him again. "Well!?" Sirius yelled, clearly impatient.
"Well, we took the test and, uhm." Peter already knew what was coming considering the fact his eyes were as wide as saucers. "NO!" Screamed Sirius. "This cannot be true! There is no way in hell your future self f*cked Snivellus." Sirius yelled again, waving his arms around.
"Sirius, you need to calm down!" Remus said, trying to be calm.
"No, don't tell me to be f*cking calm! Our best mate completely betrayed us in the future!" Sirius said standing up, with his arms crossed.
"Gosh Sirius! You are a damn child, is this all you can think about? When there is a child involved. The only thing you can think about is Snape and whatever we did to have Harry!?" James shouted.
"At this point if Severus is the other father then the baby doesn't even matter anymore!"
"HOW DARE YOU!! This is my child we are talking about!" James screamed, Sirius has never gotten on James' nerves like this before but he was one word away before James snapping.
"James is right, Sirius all you care about is the fact Severus is another father, when there is a baby involved. I think it's time you give up this childish enemy." Remus said, standing up and walking to the side of James.
"What!! I-I, Moony I-, Peter! You share your thoughts!" Sirius stuttered but turned to Peter. "To be honest, I am not okay with the fact James' future self likes men." He said standing up from his bed.
Everyone in the room seemed to forget about the whole Severus and Baby situation. They were all glaring at Peter. "What did you just say, Peter." Sirius said, turning to Peter with a death glare.
"I'm saying I think it's gross that James would ever think about liking men-" But Peter was cut off by Sirius punching him in the face, "Padfoot, what the hell!" Yelled Peter from the floor.
"You know I'm not going to even stop this, Peter probably deserves it. Lets go Prongs we can talk somewhere more," He said looking at Sirius beating the living lights out of Peter, "Private."
Remus and James walked out of the Gryffindor common room, "So I guess we aren't friends with Peter anymore?" James asked quietly, "Oh for sure, imagine what he would've done if he found out me and Padfoot were dating?"
"Goodness, I never would've known that Peter was homophobic." James said, shaking his head, "James don't avoid why we're actually here talking." Remus said, rolling his eyes.
"Moony, what do you think about the whole thing that my future self will have a child with.. Snape." James asked.
"Well, I would say it's a bit weird. But nothing I wouldn't accept. As long as I'm the Godfather." Remus winked.
"Yes, but I don't want to be in an unhappy relationship, which will probably be the case if me and Snape were ever together." James frowned. "You never know, Prongs. Maybe you'll actually like him in the future" Remus elbowed James.
"The day that I start liking Snape is the day you'll know I've lost my mind." James joked which earned him a whack on the head. "I'm being serious James. You never know what the future holds. Now, it's twelve-o-clock let's go to lunch." Remus gestured to the Great Hall.
James was so caught up in the conversation that he didn't even know they were standing right in front of the Great Hall. They sat at the Gryffindor table in their normal seats, Remus across from James. Normally Sirius would sit next to Remus and Peter would sit next to James.
But now that it seemed they were no longer friends with Peter, James would be sitting alone now. "So, James, are you excited for the upcoming Quidditch game? When's it? This weekend?" Remus asked as they both put some food on their plates.
"Yes, this weekend. And I think we're definitely winning this game. Slytherin has no chance on us. I'll probably have to round up the team this week sometime, just to get some extra practice." James smirked.
"You were always so incredibly Quidditch obsessed." Remus said, rolling his eyes. "How dare you! Obsessed is an understatement!" James said playfully to which Remus laughed.
"Hey, sorry I'm late!" Sirius exclaimed sitting down next to Remus. "Goodnes Pafoot! Your nose is bleeding, you should go to Madam Pomfrey!!" James yelled, about to stand up until Sirius stopped him.
"No, that git Peter is there. I can't believe that. We were friends with him for a total of seven years, we were!" Sirius said, shaking his head. Remus rubbing his back to comfort him. "I don't blame you for what you did, Patfoot." Said James, with a mouthful of sandwich.
"Listen Prongs, I'm sorry. I guess Remus was right." Sirius said slowly rolling his eyes at the Remus part. "Thank you Padfoot. But you still never know, maybe my future self won't actually end up doing anything with Snape since now I know."
With Severus
Since Lily left to go with Mary, and James left to go with his little group. Severus had to continue and finish the Hogwarts tour himself. "Okay Harry, we've explored all the places we could've needed. It's lunch time now, let's go." Severus said, gesturing for Harry to follow him into the Great Hall.
Now that students had kind of gotten used to Harry, or maybe just his presense. There weren't many people staring as there was that morning.
Severus sat at the same spot he did that morning, Narcissa already being there. "Hello Narcissa." Severus said, making Harry a plate. Narcissa didn't have anything in front of her, she seemed incredibly deep in thought.
"Narcissa?" Severus asked, waving a hand in front of her face. "Oh yes, sorry I just-" She looked as though she wanted to break down into tears.
"Cissy?" Harry frowned, tilting his head to get a good look at her. "Narcissa, what's wrong?" Severus asked again.
"We probably shouldn't talk about it here. D-Do you think I could talk to you? Alone." She said, picking her head up from her hands. "I- I can't leave Harry, he's eating," Severus looked at the Gryffindor table to see if Lily was there. She wasn't but another Gryffindor was. "Actually we can, follow me. I just need to quickly give Harry to someone."
They both stood up and walked towards where James was. "Snivellus, what're you doing here! Cousin?!" Sirius yelled looking at Severus than to Narcissa. "Potter, do you think you could take Harry, just for a few minutes. Don't let Black anywhere near him." Severus said, handing Harry to James before Narcissa and Severus walked away.
Sorry for the short chapter! I just wanted to clear up one thing.
