With James:

Because the last Quidditch match before winter break was in one week. James was determined to only focus on the match.

But unfortunately due to the fact that he just found out he would be having a child with his enemy (of seven years) in the future, He could barely find the room in his brain for Quidditch.

But Sirius reminded him that they had the Quidditch field for practice tonight. "James, we have to hurry at dinner, remember Quidditch practice? Moony said he'll watch us play from the stands." Sirius said, blushing at the mention of Remus.

"You're like a little girl with a crush." James rolled his eyes as they entered the Great Hall. They again sat in their regular seats. But Peter still wasn't there. It seemed that this wasn't just a silly normal fight they occasionally had.

Remus already started on his meal. "How did you get out of class early?" Sirius pouted. "I had a free period. I spent it in the library." Remus smiled, putting down the book he was reading.

"Your mind seems quite occupied, Prongs." Remus stated, looking James up and down. "What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine." James said defensively, as he started making himself a plate. Remus's werewolf senses were mostly useful, but right now they definitely weren't.

Remus gave him a look that said 'Yea okay'. "I'm being serious, Moony!" James then thought of what he just said (Serious, Sirius) and laughed which got him a kick from under the table by Sirius.

"It's just that. When you find out you're going to have a child with your enemy, it's hard to not keep it out of your mind!" James said as he started eating. Sirius still seemed a little tense when the subject came up.

"I understand. Except I kind of don't." Remus shrugged. "Whatever, I need to get this off my mind. I need to focus on the next Quidditch match." Said James, shaking the thoughts away.

Just a few minutes after he said that, a familiar face walked into the Great Hall, holding a small child. The figure sat down at their respected table, talking to a girl with long blonde hair. James couldn't help but stare at the boy.

Not the little boy, but the one that was in seventh year. "Prongs, Are you there? We need to go now." Sirius said, waving his hand in front of James's face. "Yes, let's go." James shook his head to get himself to snap out of his trance.

Once they had exited the Great Hall and were walking down to the field Sirius asked him, "James, what's wrong with you lately.? Don't tell me that you are starting to like Snape." Sirius asked with a scared look.

"I'm not sure Sirius. I don't know what it could be." James said in deep thought as he entered the changing rooms. "Well if you do, then I guess I'd support you." Sirius hesitated. "Thanks Padfoot." James smiled.

A few minutes later they walked out the changing rooms and met with their team. "Alright, so the last game before winter break is this weekend. I want everyone to keep their minds in the game. This could be really important for us if we win. Today we're just going to be playing a regular game for practice, but I want you to try just as hard as you would in the real game. Now everyone mount their brooms!" As he said this everyone started to mount their brooms.

"In 3..2..1!" As James shouted, everyone pushed off from the ground. Phoebe Dawson was already circling the field in hopes of finding the snitch. Sirius was blocking the goal post.

They had really good games. Dawson had found the snitch twice already. It was their third game when James had spotted a small figure on the pitch. "Stop! Stop the game!" James yelled, gesturing his hands for people to pause.

Everyone obeyed but still looked confused. James flew back to the ground. Even with his glasses he couldn't get a good look at the figure. James started to run towards it, maybe it was just an animal? He soon reached the figure and realized it wasn't an animal, It was Harry.

"Harry! What're you doing here? Where is Snape?" James asked, looking around for Severus. But there was no sign of him. So James picked up Harry. "Everyone, I have to go and return Harry to Snape. Sirius, you're in charge!" James yelled so the people hovering over the ground could hear.

"Harry, why aren't you with your Papa?" James asked as he turned Harry to face him. "Daddy always takes me to Qwidditch games! I wanted to see it up cwose!" Harry frowned. "Well you shouldn't have run away from Snape like that, you could've given him a right good scare!"

"Snape? Who's that!" Harry asked. "Your Papa." James huffed.

"I'm sowwy!" Harry frowned. "I'm not the one you need to be apologizing to." James said as he opened the doors to the school. The corridors seemed to be deserted. These grounds were huge, where could Snape be?

"Harry, do you remember where you ran off at?" James asked. "Libwawy!" Harry exclaimed. James walked to the Library which wasn't far. He could already tell that Severus wouldn't be in here. Snape would have gone off looking for Harry by now. He thought to himself.

"Well I guess we should keep looking." James sighed. He walked down a few corridors, it was around the fifth corridor he had walked down before he heard running from behind him, Severus.

"Snape! Slow down!" James yelled as Severus came to a halt. "I have him right here!" Severus turned around at this. "Did you tell him to go to you!" Severus hissed, looking James up and down. "No! I wouldn't have done that, I was practicing for the Quidditch game when I spotted him."

Severus held out his arms. For a moment James thought he wanted to hug him. "Could I have him back now?" Severus said impatiently. "Oh, right." James muttered as he shook his thoughts away and handed Harry over.

"T-Thank you, for returning him to me." Severus stuttered but said sternly. "It's no problem. But I wanted to ask if you were going to the Quidditch match." James asked.

"Is Quidditch all you think about?" Severus rolled his eyes. "But yes I will be, but don't expect me to be cheering for your team." He sneered.

Severus started to walk away before James grabbed his wrist. "I also wanted to ask if you want to go to Hogsmeade with me next weekend." Severus's eyes widened. "What?" Severus whispered as if there were people in the corridor with them.

"Is this a dumb prank of yours?" Severus scowled. "No! I just figured if I'm going to be a third wheel I might as well not go with my friends."

"Third wheel? What about Pettigrew?" Severus asked him. "Oh, we decided we wouldn't be friends with him anymore ever since I found out I was the other Father of Harry." James looked genuinely upset. Which Severus could understand, he had been friends with Peter for a very long time.

But Severus couldn't help but blush at the fact James chose Severus and Harry over his best mates. "So, Will you go with me?" Severus tilted his head up to look James in the eyes. "Fine. But if there is a single prank let off on me I will be gone before you can even say Sorry."

"I promise there won't be any." James smiled. Severus had just realized James never let go of his hands. "Sorry!" James said as he took his hand back. "Well, goodbye James." Severus said as he turned on his heel and walked away.

James? Did he just call me James? Since when did he call me my first name!

Did James Potter just ask ME on a date? Or just to hang out? And why did I have to call him James. Severus thought, mentally facepalming.
