Chapter 17

The next two days went faster than Severus would have ever wanted them to. It was already Friday. Today not only would he be putting Harry back into his correct timeline, but he would also be meeting his future self, that should be interesting.

Severus couldn't help but cry, just a little! Okay, maybe a lot.

When he gives Harry back that means he would return to his miserable life at Hogwarts. The only thing that changed was the fact he wouldn't need to be so cautious of the Marauders attacking him. But going back to his normal life meant that he would have to share a dorm with the other Slytherin boys in his years. They will for sure bully Severus worse than James and Sirius ever did only because they now knew him and James were 'A thing'. That also meant that Severus wouldn't be as happy as he was when Harry was around. But it's fine! He wouldn't be feeling like this forever. Hopefully.

"Papa? Are you otay?" Asked Harry who was sitting in Severus's lap. "I-I'm fine Harry. Listen, today you're going back to your home! Make sure to be very good." Severus smiled.

"Yayy!! I get to see Ela and Lias!" Harry giggled. "Harry, why did you never tell me about Elara and Elias?" Severus had just realized that Harry had never mentioned siblings before.

"Because you alweady know them!" Of course, Harry doesn't realize that the older Severus and the present Severus don't exactly know the same things. Same people, different thoughts.

"Right." Said Severus as he wiped his eyes. He best leave his dorm now. He's probably already late. Severus stood up and walked out the portrait hole. This would be the last time he would do that. The house elves already moved his stuff back to his real dorm.

Narcissa and Lily were waiting for him outside the Portrait. "Severus! You took so long, we were beginning to think that you had already lef- Severus, have you been crying? Your eyes are so red!" Narcissa exclaimed as she quickly walked next to Severus.

"I'm fine!" Severus quickly swept away Narcissa's hand that was on his shoulder. "Are you still upset about Harry leaving, Sev?" Asked Lily.
"I was never upset about it." Narcissa and Lily both exchanged a look that said 'Who is he kidding?'

"Come on, let's just go, they are probably waiting." Severus shook them off before walking away, Lily and Narcissa following.

"Now, Dumbledore didn't exactly say where the portal was." Said Severus after a few minutes of walking around the castle. "Erm- I think that might be it." Narcissa spluttered while pointing to a huge portal in the courtyard.

"There you are!! We've been waiting for twenty minutes!" Yelled Mary who was standing next to Remus and Sirius. "Sorry." Said Lily.

The three of them were still looking at the portal, mesmerized by it. "Now, anyone who knows Harry, personally, this is your last chance to say goodbye." Dumbledore spoke.

There were only a few people there. Remus, Sirius, Mary, Narcissa, Lily, James, the Aurors from a few days ago, the Ministry Official from a few days ago, Dumbledore, Mcgonagall, and lastly, Severus.

Excluding the Aurors and Mistry Official, those were the only people that kind of knew Harry. Professor Mcgonagall, the woman who was always so stern, wore a very soft expression. Of course she had gotten to know Harry pretty well. She watched after Harry while Severus was at classes that Harry wasn't permitted to be in (Which were most of them).

Narcissa seemed to be getting emotional, Severus could see tears forming in her eyes. Severus brought out his arms and handed Harry to her. Narcissa gave Harry one last hug.

She then passed Harry to Lily who also gave Harry a hug. Lily gave Harry to James who kissed Harry on the forehead and ruffled his hair one last time before giving him back to Severus.
