IT WAS HALLOWEEN the best day ever! i walked down the hallways that were decorated with spider webs and signs 'happy halloween' one sign read.
I dressed up as i ghost, i had a sheet draped over me, the eyes cut out so i could see, my ma made the costume for me, we didn't have enough money to buy i costume so she tried her best.
but i like it. i think it's cool. I looked around seeing people dressed up as all different characters, some princesses, some werewolf's.
It made me smile seeing everyone dressing up, as i made my way into my classroom i saw robin and his friends, i was gonna approach them but then i heard something.
"why do you hang out with y/n! she's so weird!" robins friends laughed, robin chuckled "i don't want to! she like hangs around me like a little insect, she's so gross" robin laughed
I felt tears sting my eyes "dude you just need to drop her, she isn't worth it" his friend said "i'm trying but i honestly feel bad for her, she has like no friends, but..i think she likes me" he said.
"eewwww!" robin friends laughed, i quickly stormed out of the classroom and into the bathroom, i hid in the stall and ripped the blanket off me, i began tearing it up out of anger.
i put the toilet seat down and sat on it as i cried, of course he was talking shit about me, i should've never trusted him in the first place.
I heard the bell ring so i wiped my tears and exited the bathroom, i saw robin waiting for me at my locker, i walked over to him pushing him away from my locker and opening it getting my math book out.
"hello to you too n/n" he smiled "don't even call me that robin" i said, he frowned "are you okay y/n?" he asked "how come you aren't dressed up, you love halloween!" he said.
"just leave me alone since you think i'm annoying and gross! and just so you know! i don't like you! your a stuck up asshole, no one likes you!" i said before walking away.
"y/n! wait!" he called out, i began running, running all they way to behind the school, i slid down the wall as i watched the leaves on the grass fly away in the wind.
My day was just ruined, normally i love halloween, now i hate it.
"y/n?" i heard robin say, i didn't look at him "get lost" i said, i heard him sit next to me "y/n.." he said "i said get lost! what don't you understand robin!? i don't wanna be your friend!" i said.
"why are you acting like this!? what did i do!?" he said "i heard you and max shit talking about me!" i said, his face dropped.
"i-" "i don't wanna hear it, if you didn't wanna be my friend you could've just told me that, i've lost everyone else i might as well lose you too robin. so just leave me alone, and don't bother coming to my house this afternoon like we planned, i don't wanna see your fake ass face." i said as i got up walking away.
IT WAS THE END OF SCHOOL i laid on my bed staring at my ceiling "honey why aren't you going trick or treating you love going trick or treating, it's the only time you get free candy honey! make the most of it!" she said.
i shook my head " i don't want to" i said, i heard her sigh before leaving my room.
i rolled over onto my side staring out the window, the leaves falling off the trees and onto the streets.
"y/n" i heard a familiar voice say, i turned and saw robin, i sat up looking at him in disbelief "i told you to not come over!" i said.
"i don't care what you told me to do, i wanted to, plus i need to apologise" he said "no shit"
He walked over to me sitting next to me "don't sit too close you might get the coodies" i said sarcastically, mocking his child like behaviour.
"y/n im sorry okay, i don't know why i said those things, hanging out with max i felt cool and i wanted to show off, i said those things cause i thought i'd be cool to them, but i realised how much of a dick i was." he said.
"you are a dick" i said "i am" he chuckled "can you forgive me? please, i'll ditch max i swear, i don't want them as friends, your so much better then them." he said.
"i dunno if i can trust you robin" i said "i know y/n but i'm honestly sorry, on my abuelas life i swear i will never hurt you again" he said "you know how much i love my abuela y/n" he said.
i nodded "ok" i said "come on let's go get free candy" he smiled "you really thought i'd forgive you that fast?" i said.
"what?" he said frowning "i'm joking! let's go get free candy!" i said chuckling as i ran out of the door.
