ROBINS POV
THE LAST RELATIONSHIP i had was by far the worst i've ever had, she traumatised me so much, every time we had a fight she would slap my face, tug my hair and scratch me, she had long nails so she'd dig them into me if i didn't listen to her.
She used me and made me buy her all these expensive shit, which i'm fine with buying her things but she didn't deserve it at all, she'd make me do things i was uncomfortable with and i just hated being with her.
Every fight we had were over the littlest things, and she'd get so angry with me and end up hurting me, as much as i hated her i never touched her back.
My dad told me to never touch a woman unless it's romantically, even then you ask. And i've stuck by that my whole life, so i always just had to suck it up and take her shit, sometimes i'd try and hold her away from me when it got worse.
I finally built up the courage and broke up with her, she cried and begged for me to stay but i backed down and left her, now i'm with the most beautiful girl ever, she treats me way better and i'm so grateful for her.
But today we got into a fight, it was over something little, and i hated it because it just reminded me of my ex, y/n is aware of her and knows how i have trauma from it.
I sat on my couch with y/n next to me, she sat on her phone scrolling and doing whatever she was doing, i was mad at her so i was ignoring her.
"robin talk to me" she said to me, i sighed and played with my fingers "im sorry okay, i won't do it again" she said, i glared at her "just leave me alone" i mumbled.
I watched as she nodded turning and watching the TV, i was shocked for a second, i wasn't used to this healthy relationship thing, seeing her actually give me space and be respectful made me so much happier.
If that was my ex she would start yelling at me and it'd resolve in an argument, i turned to y/n and wrapped my arms around her.
i felt her hug back, her hands massaging my head "im sorry" i mumbled into her shoulder "no need to be sorry" she mumbled placing a kiss on my cheek.
"i love you" i said kissing her neck making her laugh "i love you too" she said i pulled away from her neck with a smile.
I'm so glad i found her.
