*3 years later...*

Jennifer's POV

I can't believe this time has finally come. Today is May 12, 2020, which is Mark and I's 3 year anniversary. I can't believe it's been 3 years since my life had changed forever. I am honestly super thankful for Mark because, out of all my past relationships, Mark was the only guy that made me feel wanted & loved. I did have to go into work this morning, but I'll only be working until 1:00 pm because Mark said he had plans for our anniversary tonight. I have no clue what plans he made, I'll just be along for the ride. When I got to work, I was greeted by the security guard with some flowers. "Good Morning, Ms. Gilbert. These are for you." He said. "Awww, thank you very much. Who are they from?" I asked. "I was told not to say anything." The guard smiled as he walked away. As I was making my way to my post, I stopped for a quick second to read who the flowers came from. *Happy 3 Years, Sunshine. I love you to the moon & back. ~Mark* Good gosh, I can't believe him. I swear, I have the sweetest boyfriend ever. When I got to my post, there was something else waiting for me there. "This was dropped off for you this morning." One of my co-workers told me. "This is crazy lol. I already know it's from my boyfriend, Mark. It's our 3 year anniversary today." I smiled. "Awww, happy 3 years to you both!" She smiled. "Thank you very much." I smiled as I grabbed the note from the teddy bear. *I love you so much, my love. Thank you for making me the happiest guy on the planet. ~Mark* This guy is too much. I just love him so much.

------6 hours later------

I am finally off for the day, so I clocked out and grabbed my stuff to go home. When I made my way to the entrance, I saw a tall, 6'1" guy standing outside. From a distance, I already knew it was Mark. "What are you doing here, love?" I smiled as I gave Mark a hug. "Well, it's our 3 years today, so I wanted to do everything I could to make you feel special today." He smiled. "I swear, you are too much. But I love it." I smiled as we locked hands. When we got to my place, I started to feel sick all of a sudden. "Love, let's hurry up and get inside. I feel like I have to throw up or something." I told Mark as I slowly dropped everything I had in my hands. Right when Mark opened the door, I immediately ran to the bathroom and threw up. 10 minutes later, I heard a knock on the bathroom door. "Are you ok, love?" Mark asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. I think this is just from what I had for lunch today." I replied. "Ohh, ok. I just want to make sure you're ok. You think you'll be ok for dinner?" He asked. "Ohh yeah, I'll be ok for dinner." I replied.

------20 minutes later------

From what happened earlier, it had me thinking. Luckily, I had bought some.... pregnancy tests, just to be on the safe side. Mark was sitting on the couch watching a movie while I excused myself to "use the restroom." I quickly took a box of pregnancy tests out & immediately took one. I mean, I wouldn't be upset if I ended up being pregnant. Being blessed with a baby is a true blessing. But at the same time, I don't feel like I'm quite ready. But whatever happens, I'll have to be ready. After about 5 minutes went by, I decided to go ahead & check the results of the test. And when I saw the results, I could not believe what I was seeing. I'm.... pregnant. I wanted to take another test, just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. 10 minutes go by, and that other test showed the same result. I really am pregnant. I'm not ready to tell Mark. He can't find out yet. I think I'm going to wait to tell him. I hid both tests in a drawer where Mark wouldn't think to look. I came back out from the bathroom to join Mark on the couch.

Mark's POV

Today marks one of the best days of my life. It is Jennifer and I's 3 year anniversary, and this has been some of the best 3 years of my life. I wanted to make sure she felt so special tonight, so I made sure to book a dinner at a nice restaurant that she would enjoy. I booked a nice dinner at Zaytinya by Jose Andres. I've always heard about his restaurants, so I wanted to bring my girl to as many of them as possible. A couple hours passed by, and it was time to head to the restaurant for dinner. While on the way to the restaurant, I kept noticing that Jennifer looked more sad than she usually is. "Are you ok, my love?" I asked. "Ohh yeah, I'm totally fine. I just feel really tired." She replied. "We can just go home if you want. I can cook up something at my place instead." I said. "Ohh no, I won't let you do that. We're already here. We have to fully celebrate tonight." She smiled. When we got to the restaurant, we were lead to our table & our food was served to us. "So, just out of curiosity my love, if we ever had kids together, what would you name them?" I asked. "Honestly, I love getting asked this question. If we had a boy, I'd probably name him Cash or Hendrix, after Johnny Cash or Jimmy Hendrix. If we had a girl, I'd probably name her Bowie or Lennon, after David Bowie or John Lennon." She said.

"Those are honestly so perfect. I love them all." I smiled. "I also like Presley, after Elvis Presley, and Marley, after Bob Marley of course." She added. "I love that so much." I replied. While eating dinner, I had a special surprise planned for Jennifer. I had a bouquet of her favorite flowers, sunflowers, delivered to her while we were eating. "Ms. Gilbert, here you go. Happy Anniversary to you two." The server smiled. "What is this about?" Jennifer smiled. "They're for you. Happy Anniversary my love." I smiled as I grabbed her hand. "I love you so much Mummsy. Happy Anniversary." She smiled.
