It still hasn't sinked that I'm finally married. The ceremony ended around 2:30 pm, and we decided to take some more picture after the ceremony with our wedding party at a nearby lake, close to the reception space. Once pictures were done, we made the decision to head back to the hotel to freshen up, and possibly change into a different outfit. We plan on heading over to the reception around 5:00 pm so we can figure things out, like our entrance and stuff. I decided to change into a white dress-like jumpsuit that had a long veil-like skirt that happens to detach, which is perfect! (A.N. - I will try to attach a picture of the jumpsuit below to where Jennifer got her reception dress inspiration from).

Mark's POV
This seriously cannot be real right now. I'm finally married. I married the most absolute beautiful girl in the world, and the girl of my dreams. I've said this many, many times before, but my luck with relationships hasn't been the best. I've been broken up with, used for who I am & my money, and just many other things. I thought I would never be in a relationship again, until I met Jennifer. She truly changed everything, and when we met, turns out she was in a similar situation like I was. However, hers was far more worse than mine. She was used, broken up with, and worst of all, she was physically & mentally abused. I could not let that happen. I reassured her, that she will always be safe with me.
We got back to the hotel to freshen up & possibly change if we needed do. Once all that was done, we headed to the reception space to figure things out, like what we're going to do for our entrances and stuff. When we got to the reception space, all Jennifer & I could do was watch everyone coming in. "I truly cannot believe this is happening. We're married, Mark!" Jennifer said as she gazed into my eyes with that beautiful smile of hers. "I seriously cannot believe this either! I thank God every single day that we crossed paths." I smiled. "Me too! Words cannot express how thankful I am that we crossed paths, and that we made it to this point." She smiled.
Jennifer's POV
The reception will be starting in just a couple minutes, and I truly cannot wait to show to the world & everyone here, the handsomeness that is my HUSBAND, Mark. I can't believe I'm saying that. Mark is my HUSBAND now. If only I could see the smiles that are on my face right now, I'd feel so happy. The time is now 5:30 pm, and it was time for the reception to begin. We waited until everyone got to their seats & settled in. And before we knew it, the reception had begun!
We couldn't have a wedding without hiring the best DJ on this earth, DJ Lenny. He came all the way from Australia just to be with us on our special day. "I wouldn't trade it for the world." He told Mark last night. "Good Evening everyone, and welcome to the night we've all been waiting for, the marriage of Jennifer & Mark. It is truly an honor that Jennifer & Mark had me come be their DJ tonight, so we're going to have fun & enjoy tonight's festivities. So without further ado, let's get this party started!" Lenny said. "We're going to start the night off with introducing the wedding party. First, we have the amazing & beautiful bridesmaids! We have Bailey, Annalise, Shelby, and Michelle." Lenny said as the song "Let's Get Married" by Jagged Edge (Run DMC Remix) started playing & the girls made their way into the reception room.
Once the girls made their way in, it was time for the groomsmen to make their way in. "Now ladies & gentlemen, it is time for the groomsmen to make their way in. We have John, Brady, Jackson, and Connor." Lenny smiled as the guys made their way in. All the guests were clapping & cheering, and it made our hearts so happy & full. Now, it was time for our best man & maid of honor to make their grand entrance. "And now, it is time for me to introduce the bride & groom's maid of honor & best man. Ladies & Gentlemen, please welcome, Aurora & David!" The guests were cheering Aurora & David on.
Once everyone got into their places, the lights went mid-dim, and everyone knew that it was time for Mark & I to make our grand entrance. "And now, without further ado, ladies & gentlemen it is now time for the main event!" "As DJ Lenny, it is my honor & privilege to introduce to all of you, the newlyweds! Mr. & Mrs. Mark Ryan Mumm!" Lenny said as Mark & I made our way in while SB19's song "Gento" was playing in the background.
Mark's POV
Hearing SB19's "Gento" in the background while Jennifer & I were making our way in, just kept me thinking that we're just minutes away from my special surprise that I had planned for her. The song kept playing while she & I were on the dance floor getting our sillies out. The music started dying down & it was time for our first dance as husband & wife to begin. "Now, before we start the first dance, I think our groom of the hour wanted to say a few words. Mark, you have the floor." Lenny said as he handed me a microphone. "Thank you, Lenny." "First things first, I wanted to start off by saying thank you so much for all of you for coming here tonight to celebrate Jennifer & I. It means so much to us that you guys are here, and we cannot thank you enough for even being here with us right now." "So, before we start off our first dance, I actually have a surprise for my wife. This girl right here, has been nothing but the best. She has worked her whole self off, just to give us a good life." "Therefore, I want to give her a surprise, that she'll never forget." I smiled as I looked at Lenny to get ready. "So, without further ado ladies & gentlemen, to sing Jennifer & I's first dance song, please welcome Stell, Pablo, Justin, Josh, and Ken - SB19!"
Jennifer's POV
The minute "SB19" came out of Mark's mouth, I couldn't believe it at all. I looked towards the stage, and for real, there they were. I truly couldn't believe that my best friend was here. Mark & I's first dance song was SB19's song "Liham." That song truly has so much meaning to me, I immediately started crying when I heard the boys begin to sing.
When the song ended, I saw Stell hand his microphone to Ken & come off stage. Without any hesitation, I immediately ran towards Stell & gave him the biggest hug of my life. I gripped to him so tightly & didn't want to let go. I could just feel all the tears streaming down my face and dripping onto Stell's clothes. Stell & I remained in an hugging embrace for the next 10 minutes, and I could just hear the guests cheering & clapping on. I seriously could not stop crying. I truly missed Stell so much. I haven't seen him since he last came to visit me when Mark invited him over.
"For those who aren't aware, Stell & Jennifer practically grew up together when she lived in the Philippines for 6 years! Her & Stell were neighbors." "She saw Stell as the big brother she never had & always wanted. Whenever she's having a bad day, or whenever she needs a "pick-me-up," just call her best friend Stell, and he's always there." "Stell was always protective over Jennifer, and that to me, means more than anything in this world. I'm so happy that my wife has someone that truly cares for her, and cares for her wellbeing." Mark said.
