Jennifer's POV

I can't believe my dreams are finally happening. I've always dreamed marrying someone that would truly care for me, want to take care of me, and be there for me during my darkest times. The minute that Mark proposed, I knew right away, that my life was slowly falling right into place. It's been a few days since the proposal, and I'm already beginning the process of planning my dream wedding. When I was a little girl, I always dreamed of having a wedding that would take place in a beautiful garden-like area, with beautiful trees surrounding us, with a big open space where all the guests can be. Basically, a outdoor/nature wedding. However, I still wanted the reception to be indoors since the ceremony itself will be outdoors.

Mark and I did a good amount of research for outdoor wedding ceremony & reception venues in the Washington, D.C. area, and we collectively decided on The Schuyler for our reception venue. We're still deciding on a ceremony venue because we're not finding anything in the D.C. area that we're liking so far. It took us a couple of days to find the perfect venue we'd want, but we finally decided on something that we both loved. We decided to go with the Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion in Chevy Chase, Maryland. When we took the tour of the venue, we immediately fell in love with it & booked our wedding date right away. We wanted to get married sometime during the fall season, so we went with a wedding date sometime in September 2021. September 25, 2021 is our official wedding date. Mark and I are truly excited to get married, and to celebrate with all of our family & friends.

Mark's POV

I'm truly blessed that I found the woman of my dreams. She has made me the happiest man on the planet, I just cannot wait to marry her already! The first thing checked off our wedding checklist was booking the wedding ceremony & reception venues! We are holding the ceremony in Maryland, and the reception will be in Washington, D.C. The part we're looking forward to, is figuring out who we want to be a part of our wedding party. And Jennifer is looking forward to picking out the songs that we want to use during the ceremony & reception. Both Jennifer and I took the day off today so we could focus on a good chunk of our wedding stuff.

Jennifer's POV

Mark and I both took the day off today so we could focus on a good chunk of our wedding details today. I had Mark focus on who he wants for his best man & groomsmen, and I'm focusing on what songs I'd want in the wedding, and then I'll work on who I want in my bridal party. Mark gave me to authority on choosing songs because he knew that I'd love to do that. I grabbed my laptop, my coffee, and began finding the perfect songs for our wedding. The first song I need to figure out is the song that the wedding party will walk down the aisle to, including Mark, who will walk down first. I wanted to choose a song Mark & I both loved, but that our wedding party will also love. After an intensive search, I finally decided on "The Power of Love" by Celine Dion. I went with that song because of its message, and that it's such a powerful song in general (A.N. - I will include links to all songs below so you guys can take a listen for yourselves).

The next song to decide on was the song that I will be walking down the aisle to. I wanted the most perfect song, I kind of wanted a song that would make me tear up. It didn't even take me 5 minutes. I decided on "Make You Feel My Love" by Adele. I've always loved that song, so I knew I wanted to include it in my wedding. I've always loved Adele's music, so this song was the perfect addition.

The next song to choose was the song that Mark & I (and the wedding party) would walk back down the aisle to after the ceremony is over. This one was hard to choose, I even had to have Mark help me choose. Mark loves the band Queen, and so do I, so we figured, why not do a Queen song! After listening through Queen's songs, we decided on "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" as our wedding recession song.

Mark's POV (Surprise!)

While Jennifer is finishing up our wedding song playlist, I never told her, but I may have a couple surprises up my sleeve for her. What she doesn't know is, I've invited Stell & the boys of SB19 to our wedding. I would've included Stell in our wedding party, but it would've gave the surprise away, so I stayed away from that. So the plan is, to have Stell & SB19 to perform a song or two to surprise Jennifer during the reception, one of those songs being Jennifer & I's first dance song, "Liham." And after our first dance, Jennifer will have the opportunity to have a dance with Stell & the boys. I've already talked with Stell & the guys on what their plan is, and they've decided to perform two other songs, and they chose to sing their songs "Mapa" and "I Want You, in which "I Want You" will be some sort of "lap" dance from the SB19 boys & Stell.

Jennifer's POV

One of the songs that I have been having trouble choosing is the one Mark & I will dance to while entering the reception. I came up with a list of a couple songs & shared that list with Mark to see which one he would like. "Love, these are all such great songs." "But I think I've narrowed it down to these to "Rollercoaster" by the Jonas Brothers and "Gento" by SB19." Mark said. "Oooo ok, those are two awesome songs!! I think "Gento" by SB19 would be a great choice, love!" I replied. I then realized that we needed to choose a song for the wedding party to dance their way into the reception to. That one was an easy choice, we went with "Let's Get Married" by Jagged Edge (Run DMC Remix).

"Love, all the songs are covered now!" I told Mark. He made his way over to look over and confirm the list of songs. "These all look good to me!" Mark replied. "And I'm assuming any songs are good to play during the reception in general?" I asked. "Yup, sounds good to me!" Mark smiled. "Speaking of, have you figured out your chunk of the wedding party?" I asked. "Ohh yes, I just finalized my list. Have you finalized yours?" Mark replied. "Same here, I just finalized mine!" I smiled. "Great! Who did you end up going with?" Mark asked. "I decided to go with my best friend Aurora as my maid of honor, and my co-workers Bailey, Annalise, Shelby, and Michelle as my bridesmaids. What about you, love?" I replied. "I chose my best friend too, David, as my best man, and two of my band mates John & Brady, my other good friends, Jackson and Connor as my groomsmen." Mark said.

"Sounds good! Looks like we're all set!" I smiled. "I truly cannot wait to get married now!" Mark smiled as he gave me a kiss on my forehead.
