Message

"Lizard, I see that your awake and rather chatty. Why don't we just get down to business then." Kieran stated a frown on her face taking in the man Infront of her.

"So soon? I figured we would entertain each other with a friendly conversation, mage" the smug look turned into a grin . The man who's eyes were green with reptilian slips, pale green scales adorned the man's body and  unlike the ones she saw in the Forrest this one had pointy teeth and looked more wild.

Kieran said nothing. She simply paced the room glancing at the man. After five minutes of staring at the man she spoke. "What are you doing in our lands? What are your people planning? The words that leave your mouth in the next breath will be your last if you do not choose them wisely" the advisor stated venom dripping off every word.

"That's a lot of barking, perfect for a demi human. Why don't you come a little closer so I can pet you" a booming laugh left the lower ranked dragon kin.

Kieran laughed along with him aloud which confused the man and his smile faltered . " I feared you would comply and tell me what I needed to know and all I had to do was write a report and treat you better than the scum you are. Not complying will allow me to vent my frustration of having my prisoner taken from me by that white lizard bastard" a smile that had no humor, eyes with the aura of death sparkled with delight. While they were chatted two demi human maids came in with treys lined with surgical knives hammers and scissors. The smile never leaving Kieran's face she took pride in seeing the smug and confident look wiped off of his face . " Oh? What's the matter, no more sass, lizard"

The man's hands were bounded over his head to the wall , the more he fought against the restrains the tighter they got seeing that they were dosed in magic, the advisor's magic.  A fusturated growl left the man's lips. " You need me alive if you ever want even a drop of Information, and if you ever touch me , I will never talk. Wasn't planning to either way"

"I am thrilled you think that way, all the more time to play"  the advisor stated smile still present.

Kai was on the other side of the palace ,training with a few of the new guard recruits, wooden sword in hand and sweat dripping from his brow with breath laboured, another recruit was on their ass whining about something or the other . Not a one put up a good fight, not a one made him say there is hope.  'These men are so soft, slow and spoiled with an easy life there is no way they can get in top shape at a quick pace.' he thought

"Alright, that's it for today, mason take the two injured to the sick bay and report to the captain. A yes sir was heard and they all left the training grounds, moan and groans were heard as they walked away. Kai shook his head as he walked away deciding that he has got enough sweat out of him and clam down enough to talk to Kieran, so he went  to find the little gremlin. Walking through the halls of the palace spotting two guards standing guard at the advisors champers he was informed that the interrogation that was scheduled had already started and so he made his way to the private room meant for such events.

It didn't even take being close the room to hear the agonizing screams and pleas for help and mercy. Kai had heard about the ways in which the advisor  got answers from prisoners that refused to talk from his father. Kieran had always been ruthless. Once the guards noticed him approaching they opened the door from him . Once he entered he was in shock and was disgusted . Kai himself had done grusome things to men in battle before, but what he was looking at was completely different.

Both eyes were removed from the lower level dragon kin and placed in jars on a small table near by. Skin from both thighs were removed as well, all you could see were mussel and traces of fat. The way they would spasms under  his weight, how his blood pooled under him. Half of the skin along with scales were removed from his face as well and placed in jars, teeth , finger nails . Kai could see the glee on Kieran's face while examining the jars she had collected. He cleared his throat. She looked in the eyes .

"Kai, I believe you have clam down enough to speak." Kieran stated still arranging what she has collected.

"Yes I believe that I did reacted poorly, I already spoke to my father. You can't blame me really , finding out so late a time that there might be a war with a race that was so small no less considered extinct, people falling from the sky, low level kins having abilities. I believe I was justified in my reaction. Kai stated walking slowly into the room and sparing small glances at the poor man attached to the wall clearly in pain beyond imagination.

Kieran caught sight of this. " Don't worry he isn't dead, before you came in , I had just collected the skin and scales from the face and if you wondering. No, no useful information, he is tough I can give him that. However , let's see how long he will last when I start collecting flesh." That horrible smile returned to the advisor's face. 

Kai simply gave a side glance and a shake of the head.

A sudden laugh caught their attention " you fools, am nothing compared to what is coming for you all, you barbarians killed us in the pass like dogs for crimes we did not commit, our children, our mothers, your righteous king was the reason for it all. In the name of justice he said. Well I have a message for you righteous king."

It happened all at once , somehow light shone from beneath the flesh of the dragon kin once hollow dark orbs for eyes shine bright as day.  Kieran acted fast and chanted a protective spell as fast as you could blink, a large green orb surrounded Kai and the advisor. Sadly the guards and the maids present were not so lucky. An explosion rocked through the palace, it could be seen from miles away the smoke that rose and the quake that followed. The king that was in another private room along with the captain and the first in command discussing ways to discreetly perform a region wide recruit without causing a panicke, felt this too neither men moved a mussel nor showed any sign of a reaction. The first in command and kai's father stated.

" The prisoner is dead." he stated having been bless by the gift of sight, could relay the news. It is as we feared, low level dragon kins now have abilities, it is not as it was my king, if we do not settle on peace , our people , our kingdom. Will be in trouble."

The captain and councilor to war agreed. " He speaks truth my king, we had secretly captured another along with this one. On the brink of death they self detonate aswell. This is horrible news . I don't believe we should keep this a secret any longer , with all due respect my king, I do not believe they want peace. I believe they want revenge"
