The Exchange

"Ah , you may be foolish girl, but you deliver. Hurry up and collect the box." Amoya's father stated in a rush.

Although Almanda had a short distance to retrieve the box, a million thoughts ran through her mind, a million memories too. When she saw the girl she helped being fed poison, being beaten,  it sickened her to her stomach, but there was nothing she could have done. The binding spell that is on her prevents her from doing so, though she knows what is in this box, a stone engraved with the gift of the blue flame. It was the flame of the previous heir. With this , in the hands of such a hideous man, what world will remain for us to claim.

"Ah , yes," Almanda said, and once the box landed in her hands , she took off running away from both sides.

Amoya's mouth was hanging open, as was her fathers both parties were in shock.What shocked them even more was the small group that was hiding not too far away watching the woman with the glowing box run pass. The men in the little group were unable to react seeing how fast the woman ran.

Amoya and Kieran eyes made four, and he pulsing green beneath Kieran's skin was just as daring as the pulsing red beneath the dragon mages skin. Kia held Kieran's neck in an elbow choke hold, whispering clam tones and words. The initial shock ended, and Johnoya made a run for Kieran, which Kia let the mage go. Amoya teleported herself in front of the little dragon ,looked back at the angry Kieran, and smiled.

"You lose." Amoya stated a blinding light filled the area, and Kieran eyes widened when Amoya's team was gone along with her mate.

"That fucking traitor , don't worry men she cant go too far the binding spell will not allow it, after her, FUCK!" Amoya's father shouted running a hand through his grey hair.

The man was so angry that he didn't realise that Kieran killed the two men that attempted to follow the woman, it was only when the body of the second man flew pass his face did he realise that he was in danger.

Kieran, who had green streaks all over her body, glowed blindly turned pirch black. She was slicing through men with a blade made purely from her gift. It too glowed pitch black. Sharpe and agile .

"You will die today." Kieran stated, looking at the man.

In another wagon they had , a few more men emerge from.

"Kill her and the little rats hiding in the bushes, too." Amoyas' father shouted while climbing onto one of the other wagons and racing after the woman Kieran thought dead.

Fifteen men stood before Kieran in a fighting stance.

"Should we help her !" Miyel shouted

Kia raised his hand and said no. He instructed Miyel and Mitch to follow the man tracking down the woman and update him via the gift he and Sol will stay and watch over Kieran. Once the others left, Kia turned to Sol and said.

"Whatever you witness this day, in this moment , repeat it to no one. am I understood?" he asked serious

Sol simply gave a firm nod, though a look of confusion lay on his face. It didn't take long for him to realize what he meant. the men that were standing in front of the mage now surrounded her.

two men attacked her first with swords from either side, hands raised high, ready for a downward strike, the mage swiftly slashed horizontally, and cut both men in half . Once the other men saw what happened, they decided to attack all at once. Kieran, with speeds Sol, was unable to keep up with took down men left and right blood painted the floors of the forest. After the last man fell, Sol had to stop himself from throwing up, Kieran was absorbing not only the blood from the men that fell, but their very life essence. with the scream that reached the heaven, a shock wave of green mist was released from her.
