Truth

"I have waited so long for you." A deep raspy voice said, filled with longing. "I've had dreams of touching your skin, hearing your laugh, seeing your face. Do you not long for me too?, why won't you answer my calling? You must hurry, time is running out, please . Help me." The last words were said in a whisper.

Kieran opened her eyes,she sprung up out of bed and flong her legs over the edge. "Margi!"She called . Kieran rushed to her desk and pulled out the map she had of the green that surrounded the lost city.

"Margi!!". She  shouted her maid rushed into the room through a secret door, no light in hand, the moon light that shines through the small balcony into the advisor's room was light enough.

"My Lady, what is it, what happened".

"Wake the rest of the advisors, we need to prepare for the meeting in the morning. I have news". The mage said in a hurry , her maid left the room immediately eyes wide with fear of what she had just seen.

Kieran was remembering what she had seen in the dream while going over the map.

In the dream She stood in the green that surrounded the city they discovered, it was  on the northern side, the position the moon was in and  the direction her shadow stood told her everything. The figure before her was unclear , though they were tall, much taller than her . The body was very feminine that didn't go at all with the voice it used. Kieran tried to get a good look at the figure but couldn't see the face even when she had squinted her eyes. However , golden eyes stared back at her in sadness. The figure then walked to a large stone behind them that is covered in vines, the figure removed the vines revealing a old wooden door and looked back at her.

"Help me." The figure had whispered

Kieran eyes opened wide. "Praise the green". She stated with her eyes filled with mirth and a smile plastered across her face. At that moment the king, the first in command and her maid bursts back in through her door.

"Kieran, what has happened, are you alright." The king came and held her face in his hands, she was his best friend after all. The king froze and took long steps sick from his advisor. Kieran's once big brown eyes now green stared at the king , her once even teeth now had K9s long and sharp. Demi human ears now long and pointed. Her face held a beautiful smile that could light up the entire room.

"I know how we can get entry to the lost city". Kieran stated. The king, the first in command even the maid stared at the first advisor with wide eyes.

"What? why is everyone frozen, I just said I know how we can enter the city. Hello? Is anyone even listening to me". Kieran said with frown brows. "Wait why is the king and commander in my room" she asked.

Everyone stood there shocked, the maid was the one that spoke. " My Lady are you feeling ill at all?"

"What are you talking about Margi I feel fine, we must set up a meeting with the others, since the king is still awake we can use this time to discuss what I have discovered."

"First advisor, how do you feel at this very moment we speak, do you feel at all different in anyway". The first in command spoke this time he held his hands before him as if he was trying to calm the girl down. It was then she noticed he still had on his armor and the king still wore the attire for today. The king backed up and fetched a full body mirror that was in the room. The king held it before the girl.

Kieran stared at herself in shock, her features were completely changed, a scream left the tiny woman. She turned her back to the mirror and held the paper in her hands. Deciding it wasn't the time to show that bit of information.

"All of you , get out". The woman whispered, but no one made a move to do so.

"I said get out!" She screamed eyes glowing even more green. All left but margi.

Kieran whispered a few words and the paper in her hand turned to ash. She fell to her hands and knees she started breathing heavily an her eyes dilated. The advisors nails dig into the carpet.

The dreams she had been having all these years, of someone ravishing her until she woke was showing themselves, those golden eyes, that voice. The dream they just had felt so real, whoever they spoke to smelt so good, their eyes, I've ne-.

"Wait I have seen those eyes before". Realization sprung across her face. She gritted her teeth and tears burn behind her eyes.

"You fucking lizard" the advisor whispered.

"My Lady, is everything alright ". Kieran got up with the help of Margi

"You must not tell anyone what I am about to tell you." Kieran stared into Margi's eyes.

"I promise". The maid said

"I have found my mate". The advisor whispered.

Margi stared with wide eyes at her lady. "Oh my".
