Conversations

After Kieran left the area, Johnoya and Kia stood staring at each other. Kia with  knitted eyebrows , huffed and walked away.

"That male is not what he seems, little dragon. Be careful around him." Elijah spoke to her  telepathically. Johnoya simply answered with a yes. Soon after  she followed after the man.

Once they got back to the area they camped down in, Johnoya saw that the bodies of the animals were gone. With a confused look on her face, she looked at the glowing green eyes of her mage.

"I burned them. They deteriorate faster down here than on the surface." Kieran stated using her gift to remove the dust gathered.

"That has value , the dust of the bones can be used as medicine." Elijah voiced out loud , Johnoya's eyes now a golden glow. The dragon was smiling at the mage.

"You are back . What's wrong with the girl? Why are you at the surface?" Kieran asked.

"I am teaching her how to use our gift , nothing major it just requires total focus." Elijah stated.

"I see.". Kieran hummed.

"Kieran, we should still rest here. We need it, and we can rotate who gets to keep watch over everyone." Kia stated

"No need , my little dragon is training. I'll keep watch for the night." Elijah stated

"Well, that's solved. I am tired. I am going to get a nap." Kia stated, side eyeing Johnoya's  dragon, basically striping the first advisor with her eyes. He rolled his eyes and left them alone.

"What happened earlier  I -" Kieran was interrupted by the little dragon.

"It's alright. I won't think much about it, you expre-". Johnoya, too, was interrupted.

"No! I liked what happened. It felt good , is what I was trying to say." Kieran rushed out.

Johnoya looked at her surprised. Her eyes glowed golden as her mate reflected the beauty of the green. There was a mixture of Johnoya ad Elijah's voice ,

"I'd do anything to protect you."

Kieran was surprised.

"Then lead us out of this place." Kieran pleaded

"No, I told you, I will not leave until I am mated, I am  sorry, but I need this." Elijah stated. the light dimmed, and Johnoya was back.

" You can not force the dragon to do what it does not wish to. The only reason the mage is alive is because I beg for her life. There was pain, and I woke up in this place." Johnoya said.

"I'm not - I will not force you to do anything, but we need to get out of here." Kieran pushed

"I said no!". Johnoya got up and walked away from the camping area huffing.

Kieran sighed and looked at Kia. "What!? I am trying. It wants what I can not give. I refuse!"

"You have to think of something! We have been here by my count three hole days. Mate her. This is not about us anymore. It's about our kingdom, our family, Moltar placed his fate in u -" Kia was interrupted.

"Don't patronize  me, I know." Kieran stated, looking down and occasionally glancing at the direction the dragon stormed off too.

In the middle of the small city they captured, Borus stood with three of his men waiting for whirlwind that appeared to clear. After a few moments, it finally did, and the image of vengeful mage appeared along with a person in full black. This person's eyes were the only thing visible.

"My Lady." Borus greeted with a bow as deep as his voice.

"Get to the point, I wish to relieve myself from this ache cause by that dragon, follow me to my tent." Amoya stated out loud.

Borus dismissed the men as did Amoya with her strange companion. On the way to the tent Borus informed her of the defenses they made and how spies they had the sky reported the fighters marching here from the major city close by ran by a minister that cared as much for the people as they did taking a shit. Though it was  five minutes of walking, it was productive. Once they both entered the tent, Amoya suddenly wobbled , and Borus caught her before she fell to the ground.

"What is the meaning of this." The man said concern and worry laced in his voice , breathing hard staring at her.

"The dragon broke from the mating forcefully. She almost drained me of magic." Amoya stated sweating and breathing hard. She looked to Borus and tightened her hold on him.

"I need your help." She whispered, panting, her pheromones strong and intoxicating.

Borus, knowing what this means long before they were summoned here.

"I'd do anything you ask of me, my love." He whispered back to her pheromones just as intoxicating, the white in his eyes as black as the scales he wore on his skin.

Borus, though bulky and strong, hovered over the mage, he slacken his trousers, and the mage with a whispered breath removed her lower garments. The commander alined himself, took a deep breath and thrust forward, the mage's glowing green orbs stared into the abyss of Borus's eyes , both had their mouths agape, she wrapped both legs around his waist and her hands around his neck , sighing  She whispered.

"Please don't hold back."

"I don't think we should do this." The first in command shouted at the king.

" we must," he shouted his replied, from the beast, they flew next to each other.

The commander simply stayed silent.

A mile away the king,the commander, and an elite team they traveled with saw the hidden camp the fighters were. The king was surprised, shocked. He looked to the commander who was filled with pride. The king looked ahead. The sun was setting for the day, and the orange in the clouds matched the millions, if not more, lanterns lit . Men as tiny specks moved about the ground. Once they landed, the elite team disappeared. The lieutenant that was in charge reported everything to the commander and the king once they got to the tent that was prepared ahead of time for him.

"We will be going straight through the green where we last found dead spies and a battalion will distract those at the gate ,we have a camp as large as this at the rare they are ordered to stand still and be ready they are to fight only if provoked. On the west side, we already had someone climb the wall and infiltrate the city. The first advisor was nowhere to be found , we simply couldn't sense her anywhere. That can only me -"

"No, she is fine. She is smart if you have the ability to sense her. What if there are people with the same ability in the city. We need to get a battalion to climb that wall and burn as many homes as you can. No prisoners, return the favor." The king stated venom on his voice

Even the commander was surprised, and the king ordered everyone to leave.

"No commander, you stay. I wish to have a word." The king stated commanding as ever.

" I can only trust you, Kieran sh-sh-she is nowhere to be found. I used my gift. I can't see or feel her, i -" the king was interrupted by. Hug

" it is alright, love. She is with my son, I know she is fine , for my heart beats still, he is alive so she is alive, trust me. "
