"That bastard gave you a parasite potion , it is eating away at the connection you have with your dragon . The only way to save that connection is through a mating bond. Sadly, if I try to mate with you again, your dragon will kill me, I can smell that filthy demi human mage on you. Or, we can drag that dragon of yours to the surface and convince him to mate me, because I know by the glowing under your skin, the sweat that rolling off your beautiful face that you are in pain, your rut is coming in isn't it." Amoya teased.

Amoya had brought the baby dragon back to her chambers , cleaned, and she also allowed a maid to clean the girl. She did not need to restrain her, seeing that Johnoya was at war with herself.

"All I have to do is wait, and your dragon will make a choice for you. In a rut, it will not matter who he chooses, simply looking for relief from being driven mad. then, I win. " Amoya finished and laughed, stepping out of the room.

Johnoya did not utter a word because it would make no sense , not only could she sense the distress of Elijah but Kieran as well. It felt horrible. she sighed and decided to try and help Elijah in some way . She laid back on the bed, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. she dived in her mind, trying to connect to the plain Elijah always took her . Sadly, she ended up in darkness with a thick mist that was laced with sulfur

"Elijah! Elijah, can you hear me! " Johnoya shouted to the darkness only to hear the echo of her own voice.

Not long afterward, the feeling of being yanked came, and she was shaken awake in real time . To her disbelief, it was Kia.

"I thought you fucking died." he whispered harshly "We have no time , something happened to Kieran it was like she went mad when she noticed you were taken." Kia explained while helping her to grab coat to cover the night gown she was in.

All the while Johnoya did not notice a maid watching the door.

"We must hurry , the lady will be back soon down to the end of the passage there will be small statute that holds the lantern pull the lantern it will open a passge for your escape and it will be a straight run to the outer wall and back in the forest. My Prince, we mean you no harm, we only do as we are commanded please once this is all over, forgive our people, I beg you."

"it is alright, I believe you." Johnoya replied.

Kia let her know it was time to go, and he maid first went into the corridor. She came back and said it was clear . The two took off, and once Kia pulled the statue, the wall shifted and opened . They entered a few steps, and it closed by itself. Though Johnoya was weak, she was able to keep up with Kia . The maid was right, and it was a straight shot through the wall and into the forest.

"Don't you think that was a little too easy?" Johnoya asked

"You were able to just walk in and take me not long after they went through so much trouble to get me!" Johnoya shouted after they met up with the other member of their rag tag group. They did not stop running they simply headed for the explosions.

Once They were close, they slowed down, and they saw Kieran going head to head with the old man that had given Johnoya a beating her face was healed by Amoya, so she was ok now. Kierans eyes were still hallow as can be, and the way she fought was animalistic . The blows that were thrown onto her by the man left no scratch and held no power . On the other hand, every blow that landed on the man was powerful and left and deep wound.

the woman that ran with the box was laying on the ground face up, and the blue stone that was in the box was on the ground close to where the two were fighting. Their hands and feet were moving so fast it was hard to keep up at all, they disappeared and appeared with a flash of light and Johnoya and Kia had to look around a few times to see where they would appear next. With that, Johnoya spotted the stone, and  she made a run for it.

"What are you doing!" Kia shouted for the edge of the area the two were fighting in. "Come back , you can be killed in your state!" Kia continued .

Never the less Johnoya ran for the stone, picked it up, and it immediately turned gold. Not long after, the light travels from the stone, into her palm, and up her arm traveling through her body .

"No! What have you done, child?" Amoya's father shouted, barely getting up from a tree he was blasted into. Kieran didn't stop and stalked up the man black streaks running out of her eyes like tears and decorated across her skin.

After the light was absorbed by Johnoya, the connection with Elijah was restored, sending a shock of pain through the girl. She dropped to her knees and held her middle . She vomited on the earthy floor, and a mixture of both voices growled, which sent shivers down Kia's spine . It was the same feeling he got looking into the eyes of Kieran. He slowly started backing up, and he signaled the rest of the group that was nearby to do the same.

Kieran had Amoya's father in a choke hold dangling off the ground, ready to suck the life from him. When she opened her mouth and the blur came into his eyes, he retrieved and small orb from his pocket and smashed it against himself, disappearing from her hands. A scream was released from Kieran and she looked around for a next target and her eyes landed on her love and went into a crouched position immediately which was mimicked by Johnoya who now had golden streaks on her body. They began circling each other like to dogs, ready to pounce.

"They are going to attack each other. What the heavens are we going to do." Sul whispered harshly, throwing his hands up.

"Relax , for now Kieran had given me the orb thingy that would teleport us back to the caves , much like the one the bastard used to escape moments ago . The tricky part is. It requires us all touching for it to work. That guy used water with his gift, so whatever the water touches goes. However, this one is a chain effect and consumes energy from around us. The more people in the chain, the more magic it uses." Sol explained.

"Please just get to the point. What are you trying the say." Kia stated brows knit.

"We have to wait until they attack each other to jump out, surprise them, hold them down, and teleport to the gave.

"That's a horrible idea." Mitch stated face blank.

"Do you have a better idea." Kia asked to which no one said anything to.

"What happens after we are back in the cave? Do we just let them duke it out?" Kia asked

"Sadly yes that is all we have, we need a way to contain Kieran and she needs her mate to do that what better way to do that than in a place they believe we will not go back." Sol replied.

"Alright then, let's do this." Everyone stated.
