Chapter 4

"So this is diagon ally?" Haley questioned as they walked through the moving wall looking around at the funky looking shaped building. "It is" her aunt smiled. "There, we shall go into the book store first to get you started" her aunt added. As they moved closer to the store. "Thought we were going to go to the bank first" haley questioned. "Uncle CJ is gonna go, than he's gonna swing by the pet store and pick up your owl" she smiled as her uncle nodded. "Harry" Hermione beamed as it scared Haley some causing her to jump. Hermione took off as her aunt smiled.

"Hey, maybe Hermione can introduce you to her friends. Ya know so you've got two more people you'll know" her aunt suggested as haley sighed. "Yeah maybe" haley cleared her throat as they took off. Haley looked around at the books. "What classes will I be in" haley asked. "Uhm defense against the dark arts, potions perhaps. I mean Hermione could help you more with all of that" she smiled. "Well where is she" haley asked looking around. Her aunt looked around and saw Hermione talking with her friends. "There she is, go ask her for help, I'll grab the books I know you'll probably need" her aunt said reaching up remembering the books they just got for Hermione.

"Hey. Cuzo I could use your help" haley said stepping up to Hermione as the two boys stopped speaking to her and just stared at haley. "Blimey Hermione, who is she?" The red headed asked. "She called her cuzo...she isn't from here" the dark headed one asked, haley looked around and saw a blond haired boy peering down on them. "Haley. I'm a tad bit busy forgetting your existence" Hermione sighed not even looking towards haley. "Yeah, who's blonde?" Haley asked looking up and pointing. They all three looked up. "Malfoy" the dark headed one mumbled. "Draco Malfoy. He's a total tool" the red head sighed. "Perfect for haley" Hermione shook her head. "Hello, sorry for my cousins rude way of introducing us. I'm Haley her cousin obviously. We don't particularly care for one another and No I'm not from here. I'm from America" haley smiled. "Hello I'm Harry Potter, and this is Ron Weasley, we're all friends of Hermione" he smiled.

"Wow. Ages?" Haley asked. "I'm 15" Harry smiled. "15 as well" Ron smiled. "Word to your mamas" haley smiled. "Haley how insensitive and rude of you" Hermione blurted out. "My parents died when I was a baby." Harry smiled. "Damn dude. That sucks. Anyways. Are you going to help me with books. I don't really know what I'm looking for" haley smiled. "Here's a list" Hermione said giving haley a piece of paper. "You've had this the whole time and couldn't give it to me before you took off to talk to your boy toys...no offense" haley smiled. "I really don't understand your...slang" Harry said.  "Right we'll I'm leaving now."  Haley mumbled snatching the paper from Hermione and walking off to her aunt.

"Hermione gave me this" haley said holding out the paper. "Oh basically the same books as her, I just need this one" her aunt said with her arms full of book.  "Go wait outside I'll be there shorty. I'm gonna go pay for these" her aunt smiled as haley nodded. She turned around walking towards the exit. "What was something like you. Doing talking to a mud-blood" haley heard as she walked out the front door. She raised a brow and looked around seeing the blond headed boy propped up against the side of the building. "Are you talking to me?" Haley asked. "I over heard your conversation with them" he stated. "Well since you were ease dropping than you know she's my cousin." He mumbled. "Well you are no mud-blood are you?" He asked. "What is a mud-blood" haley asked confused. "A person who has no magical parents, but she has powers" he stared. "We'll both my parents were wizards so I'd assume no" she said. "Are you a pure blood" he asked. "Are you retarded. If I was a pure blood. Wouldn't she be pure blood as well" haley asked confused. "You'll watch your tone with me" she snapped. "Don't asked dumb questions than" haley shrugged. "I'm Malfoy...Draco Malfoy, you're here looking for books, you must be attending hogwarts" he said as haley nodded. "What house" he asked as she smiled.

"Gryffindor" haley said as he scoffed. "Let me guess. You're a slytherin" haley added as he smiled. "You're funny. But you know you'll be replaced one you get there right" he smiled. "Highly doubt it" haley said as he hummed. "I'll see you later than...American" Draco said walking away, haley turned around to see her aunt holding books, and her cousin, and her two friends standing by the building watching them. "You shouldn't hang out with him haley" Hermione said. "Since when did you care about anything I did?" Haley asked. "She's serious ya know" Ron said. "Yeah he's not good news" Harry added. "You guys need to chill. I can take care of myself, anyways. Now where are we going" Haley asked strutting up to her aunt.

"Well we are going to go down the road and see if we can meet your uncle, Hermione say bye to your friends. We must be off" her aunt smiled as Hermione said bye and they started walking down the road some. "This is so strange" haley commented. "What?" Hermione asked confused. "This place" she said gesturing towards everything. "What was it like in America" Hermione asked as haley sighed. "It was like a regular street, and to non-magic people it looked like an abandoned street but to wizards you could see lights, and signs shinning and flashing but nothing like this" haley smiled. "That sounds strange. And why must you swear" Hermione asked. "Guess it's an American thing to do." He shrugged as she her the sounds of owls. "Ah there he is" her aunt chimed as they saw Haley's uncle walking out of the store holding a Snow White owl in a cage. "Think this one's cool" her uncle smiled. "Hell yeah it is. Look at em" haley smiled as she held the cage. "Thank you" haley beamed at them. "Everything at the bank went well?" Haleys aunt asked as her nodded. "They transferred everything from your old bank to a new account. Along with you still getting money sent to it so everything seems to be in order now" her uncle smiled. "Wonderful. Let's go home and get ready for tomorrow darlings" her aunt suggested as everyone agreed and walked through the streets, and sea of people walking around.
