Haley was told to stand at the end of the line, she was getting ready to be re sorted. She was perfectly fine with being in gryffindor but she knows she will fit in any house. "Alright Miss granger. It's your turn" the weird, older man next to her smiled. A cat clinging onto his shoulder, it meows as haley nodded walking towards the doors. She giggled as she grabbed her wand and gave it away as the door slowly opened. "We have a new student this year. Miss Haley Granger" a voice boomed as she saw six different table, all filled with student stare at her. She giggled slightly to herself. "Miss granger we understand you were placed in Gryffindor at your last school, but we fill as if you should go through the sorting process again...just to be sure" an older man smiled, standing at a podium smiling. His beard falling down, almost to his waist. Candles floating all around in the air as the ceiling was hexed to make it appear as the night sky.
"If you'll just step up here" a lady smiled holding a hat in her hand, haley smiled as she strutted up towards the stool that sat on the stage where it appears, professors sat at as haley spun around and sat on the stool, her legs kicked as if she was a child. "Alright now I will love the sorting hat on your head and it will sort you into your proper house" the women smiled as haley nodded. "Okay" she gleed. She looked out into the sea of students she felt the hat on the top of her head as she felt it moved. "Oh. Ahh. I see. This is a very powerful witch, yes I see I see. I see. It's all in your head, bravery, smart, ambitious of a gryffindor, but yet also you could make a wonderful slytherin. This is tricky. It very much is, ravenclaw as well, oh I don't know. I don't know. Maybe...no...well perhaps...no couldn't be" the hat muttered to itself at this point. "Hurry up" haley sighed getting bored.
"I believe. You maybe stick" the lady next to me said. "No. No. I know what to do with you, maybe...no...she would be great in gryffindor. But even better in slytherin" the hat groaned. "Perhaps maybe go with that she thinks she should be in" the lady whispered. "She isn't thinking of a house" the hat exclaimed frustrated. "I'll be good in any house just throw me in something" Haley muttered. "I haven't seen someone take this long to be sorted before" the man smiled walking up next to haley and the hat. "She'd make a perfect gryffindor but also slytherin right" he asked as the hat grunted, agreeing with the man. "Well she was a gryffindor at her last school correct" the man asked as haley nodded.
"But she would do excellent things in slytherin" the hat muttered. "Maybe the hats broken" a student yelled out. "Quiet" the man roared. "Headmaster, I think we have another one" the lady said. "Hat. You need to make a decision. It's almost at five minutes" the headmaster mumbled as it groaned. "Gryffindor. She'll be great as a Gryffindor. But slytherin would be even better for her" the hat said. "So put her in Gryffindor" the man smiled. "But slytherin would fit her better" the hat sighed. "Just put me in Gryffindor" haley groaned. "GRYFFINDOR" the hat screams out. Causing the student to roar in happiness. Clapping cheerfully and some standing up.
"Wonderful, miss granger. You may go and take your seat, in your house, and now let the feasting begin" the headmaster smiled, clapping his hands as the tables filled with food. The hat was lifted off Haley's head as she stood up and walking off the table, she saw Hermione smiling and waving her over. Haley rushed over sitting next to her as Ron and Harry sat on the opposite side of them. "That sure was taking awhile" a tall red head leaned over haley. "Wonder what cha got going on in that head of yours" another red head smiled across the table looking the exact same as the one next to her. "You must be twins?" Haley asked.
"You must be a rocket scientist" the one next to her smiled. "Hello, I'm Fred, this is George, we're weaslys. That's our little brother" the one across the table smiled pointing at everyone, "hello, I'm haley, anyways" haley smiled as she looked back over at her cousin. "Ignore them haley, they're bafoons" ron said with a mouth full of food. "Do you think the hat would have placed you in slytherin" Hermione asked. "I don't really understand what took it so long to choose" Harry added. "I don't know. It said I would do good in ravenclaw, good in gryffindor, but excellent in slytherin" haley shrugged. "Than why'd it place you in gryffindor." Hermione asked confused as haley shrugged. "I told it too" she said as they all stopped.
"You put yourself in gryffindor?" Harry asked. "Yes. At my old school took it twenty-six minutes to place me in gryffindor and all I had to say was to place me in whatever house I thought of first" haley shrugged. "But the hat places you in a house that fits you, not what you want it to put you in." Hermione explains as haley shrugged. "We'll either way, I woulda been in the same class as you so I don't get why it matters" haley sighed as she filled her plate up with food as she looked up seeing Malfoy taking a sip from his drink staring directly at her. Haley raised a brow and looked at Hermione. "I'm not very good with guys, but what would cause one to stare at you?" Haley asked confused. "What do you mean." Hermione asked confused. "Who's staring at you" Ron asked smiling looking around at the table they sat at. "The boy you keep calling Malfoy" haley said as they all looked over at the slytherin tables, Malfoy smiled as he leaned towards a guy, whispered something as he nodded. They watched as Malfoy sit back up looking at haley. "Ignore him haley" Hermione said. "Please ignore him" Harry mumbled as Ron and Harry slide closer together so her couldn't stare at her anymore.
