"How did it go hagrid. The hearing" Hermione asked as the giant man skipped pebbles into the water. "Well first the committee members took turns talking about why we were there" he started. "And than I got up and did my piece. Said how buckbeak was a hippogriff, always cleaned his feathers. And than Lucius Malfoy got up. Well, you can imagine. He said buckbeak was a deadly and dangerous creature. Who would kill you as soon as it looked at you. And then he asked for the worst, did old Lucius" hagrid sighed. "They're not sacking you are they?" Harry asked. "No I'm not sacked. Buckbeaks been sentenced to death" hagrid sighed, sounding as if he was going to cry.

They all stood around as hagrid sighed looking up. "It's getting late. You all should go back to the castle. Don't need you all lot getting into anymore trouble" hagrid suggested as they all stood saying goodbye and going back to the castle.

They all got back to the common rooms. "I'm ready to go to bed" Ron yawned as Hermione agreed. "See you guys in the morning" Harry smiled as Ron and Harry went into their dorms, and haley and Hermione went into theirs, everyone was asleep as Hermione groaned flopping onto the bed. "You sleeping already?" Haley asked her chuckling. "Shush" Hermione groaned as she pulled the blankets over her head and kicked her shoes off. Haley chuckled as she pulled out her briefcase from under her bed, she opened it stepping inside as she quickly shut the case. She hummed as she pulled her wand out waving it as the feed started dancing around, buckets floating around as she made sure every trough and container were filled with feed.

"Haley I'm glad you're here" haley heard turning around smiling. "Hello" haley said. "Once you're done feeding, in the office, there is your payment, even had it be brought in money you can use in London or wherever you are" he smiled at haley as she giggled. "thank you sir" haley said. "Well I must be off, the kelpie's have been feed, don't go near them haley I'm serious. I'll talk to you later" he waved as he went up some stairs. "Good bye" haley waved as she continued to feed the animals, she yawned, with a stretch as she walked into the office. She saw the money as she scooped it up sliding it into her pocket. "Wait...this is suppose to go on my card...why did he give me money in cash" haley asked herself as she sat down at him desk, she saw some opened envelopes thrown through the desk. She shrugged, not seeing anything that would indicate why she would have it given to her in cash, she left a note on the desk.

'Thought my paychecks would be sent to my bank. It's cool though thank you sir' haley said placing the paper on his laptop so he would see it when he got back. She smiled leaving the office seeing all the animals were now all in bed. She smiled as she went up the steps herself. Seeing she was in for dorm, and no one was awake. She smiled getting out of the briefcase, locking it up and slide it back under her bed, she grabbed her pajamas and quickly changed them, she flipped into the bed as she laid her head on the pillow and fell asleep.

Haley woke up stretching hitting someone in the process. "Ow" it spike scaring her. "What is wrong with you" haley groaned seeing Hermione. "I saw you" she spoke. "I see you now" haley groaned rolling away from Hermione. "No I saw you.. last night. You walked into a briefcase" she spoke as haley looked over at her quickly. "Now you listen to me Hermione. You tell anyone I'll gut you like a fish you understand me" haley pointed a finger as Hermione shook her head. "I wanna see where you go" Hermione said. "No" haley scoffed. "It's my job I go to. Nothing special" haley yawned as she sat up rubbing her eyes. "I wanna see or I'll send a letter to my mom tell her about the briefcase" Hermione said. "And what is she gonna do. She isn't magical" haley said as Hermione shrugged. "But your mom is, she can have it zipped back to America before you can saw where did my briefcase go" Hermione smiled. "Fine. Tonight once everyone goes to sleep, you can come with me" haley mumbled as Hermione smiled. "Wonderful" she said clapping. "Let's go. We got class to get to" Hermione spoke as they got up, got dressed and went straight to their first class.

"Broaden your minds. You must look beyond" the professor crazy lady spoke causing haley to groan. "The art of the crystal gazing is in the clearing of the inner eye. Only than can you see. Try again" she said again. She walked over towards, Hermione, Harry, sleeping Ron and Haley's table. "Now what do we have here" she spoke causing Ron to shoot up as she peered into the crystal ball. "Do you mind me trying" Hermione asked as she smiled "the grim, possibly" Hermione tried causing haley to shake her head out of embarrassment. "My dear, from the first moment you stepped foot in my class, I sensed that you did not possess the proper spirit." She started as she picked up Hermione hand looking at the palm of it. "For the noble art of Divination. No you see, there. Ahh you may be young in years but you heart is a shriveled as an old maids, your soul as dry as the pages of the books to which you desperately cleave" she smiled at Hermione, Hermione scoffed as she knocked the crystal ball over causing it to roll out of class, Hermione stood up walking out of the class. "Was it something I said" the teacher asked. "Yeah something she ain't never heard before" haley chuckled causing Harry and Ron to chuckle as well.
