The new wizard

Chapter 23

"The point is. We know the truth" Hermione stated cutting off Ron from blabbing on. "Please believe us" she pleaded taking a breath. "I do, miss granger" the headmaster started. "But I'm sorry to say that the word of three 15 year olds wizards will convince very few" he explained as he walked in between Hermione and Harry and towards Ron. "A child's voice, however honest and true, is meaning less to those who have forgotten to listen" the headmaster said as he patting Ron's leg that was bandaged up as Ron whined and groaned do to the pain shooting through his leg.

"Mysterious thing,time" the headmaster raised his head quickly as they all heard the chumming of the great clock on the school, the headmaster walked up to Harry and Hermione as he smiled, getting close to Hermione. "Powerful" he stated. "And when meddled with, dangerous" he said as Hermione felt him hinting to something. "Sirius black is in the topmost cell of the dark tower" he announced as he hummed. "You know the rules miss granger. You must not be seen, and you would do well, I feel, to return before this last chime. If not, the consequences are too ghastly to discuss. If you succeed tonight... more than one innocent life may be spared." He smiled going to walk off but stop his movements abruptly turning towards Hermione.

"Three turns should do it, I think" he smiled as he looked at Hermione and Harry. "Good luck" he smiled leaving the hospital wing. "Oh by the way" he said opening the doors once more. "When in doubt, I don't retracing my steps to be a wise place to begin" he said as he allowed the doors to shut now as he left.  "Bloody hell was that all about?" Ron questioned as Hermione sighed pulling a necklace from under her shirt. "Sorry Ron. But because you can't walk" Hermione said as she put on the necklace around Harry's neck along with hers. "What-" Harry started as she turned a button on the side as Harry looked around and saw, everything moving backwards. Everything was different now. "Where's Ron" Harry said pointing at the now empty bed. "And haley" he said pointing at her empty bed. "7:30...where were we at 7:30" Hermione asked as Harry shrugged. "Oh the way to hagrids but I don't-" Harry started as she grabbed his hand pulling him. "Come on. We need to hurry and we can't let anyone see us" she started as they took off running.

Haley laid in the bed, Ron laid across from her confused as to what was happening, she was awake but couldn't open her eyes, she could hear but she kept her mind focused on something else that whatever happened to Hermione and Harry. "What are you doing here" haley heard Ron's voice. "Not here for you weasel" she heard Draco. The sound of Draco's voice made her want to smile but he face wouldn't move. "What's wrong. What happened to her" Draco asked. "No one knows, we'll the nurse knows but she won't tell anyone. Apparently it takes her three days to wake up from whatever is happening to her." He explained . 

"A magic comma" Draco mumbled to himself but haley heard. "What did you say?" Ron asked. "Mind your own business" Draco spat at him. "Why don't you leave. You've hurt her enough. She doesn't even want you here I bet" Ron spat back as Draco scoffed, haley felt a hand slide next to hers, briefly but haley felt it, she tried to move her hand but it wasn't doing. Anything. She wanted Draco to hold her hand. Wanted him to sit and talk to her. "You got her flowers" she heard Ron's voice. "Jesus. You're a dreadful person" Draco stated not wanting Ron to hear, do to him basically whispering.

"So are they sure it'll take three days for her to wake?" Draco asked. "Everyone seems to think so" Ron mumbled. "I'll be back tomorrow" haley heard Draco mumble as a hand held hers, and with a firm grip it was gone.

Hermione and Harry stopped as they saw Haley standing not even three feet away from them. Harry started to walk up to her as Hermione grabbed him, covering his mouth and she caused them fall off the side of the building. Harry looked at Hermione, her hand still over his mouth. She placed a finger to her lips for him to be quiet. "This is a time turner Harry. It is how I've been getting to all my classes. Now remember we cannot be seen. We have to be quiet around us, now hush" Hermione instructed as They look passed haley and saw themselves up against Draco and his goons. Haley quickly dropped to where Hermione and Harry sat off at. They moved back some causing haley to turn around slowly. "Hermione. Jane. Granger" haley whispered as Hermione opened her mouth but Harry shook his head covering her mouth so she couldn't speak. "Hermione no. He's not worth it" they heard as they watched Hermione punch Draco. Haley hummed to herself after Draco and his friends rushed passed as she stood up walking towards the group now. "Sorry" Hermione breathed. "Can't believe she said my whole name" Hermione mumbled.

They watched themselves walk to hagrids hut as Hermione grabbed Harry's wrist pulling him. "Let's go save buckbeack" Hermione smiled as Harry nodded as they took off towards hagrids hut. Staying in the woods trying not to be seen. They slide behind hagrids enormous pumpkins watching them through the window. Harry turned hearing voices along with Hermione, seeing the executioner, the minister, and professor dumbledor. "Here they come I'd better hurry" Harry said as he went to get up but Hermione pulled him back down. "Fudge had to see buckbeak before we steal him or otherwise he will think hagrid set him free" Hermione explained. "There's pettigrew" Harry said going to standup but once again Hermione pulled him back down. "No" she said. "Hermione that's the man who betrayed my parents. You don't expect me to just sit here" Harry said as she sighed. "Yes you must" she started as they moved further down the pumpkin patch. "Harry you're in hagrids hut right now. If you go bursting in, you'll think you've gone mad. Aweful things happen to wizards who meddle with time we can't. Be. Seen" Hermione explained as they looked back over the pumpkins. " they're coming and We aren't leaving. Why aren't we leaving" Hermione shook her head as she felt her hand touching something. She looked and saw a rock. She grabbed it picking it up and throwing it through the window. "What was that" they heard hagrid. Hermione picked up another one throwing it at Harry. It hitting the back of his head causing him to look out the window and get hagrid. "Sorry" Hermione mumbled looking over at Harry seeing him rubbing the back of his head.

They watched as the minister, the headmaster, and the executioner walked into the front door as the back door swung open as Ron was the first to come flying out. "Come on" Hermione said grabbing Harry's arm as they raced into the woods hiding behind some trees. "Is that really what the back of my head looks like?"hermione spoke as the other, thems, stood infront of them Hermione stepping on a twig causing them all to turn around. She jumped behind the tree hiding as she heard Haley's annoying chuckle. "Hey. Hermione do you still hate your middle name?" Haley asked as Hermione mumbled something. "Just wondering is all" she heard haley as they heard footsteps rushing off. Hermione and Harry came out from behind the trees. "That's bitch" Hermione groaned to herself as they got back behind the pumpkins. "Come on" Harry said as they went to get buckbeak.
