Chapter 22

"Hurry up slowpoke" haley said jabbing her wand into the man's back. "Sweet girl. You must understand-" he started but haley hand her wand to his face. "You continue to take. I'll literally tie your tongue...maybe have you bite it everytime you go to say something. How about that" haley smiled. "You are truly scary" Remus said beside Haley as they all climbed out of the tree base. Harry and Sirius set down  Ron as Hermione sat beside him, Sirius and Harry walked off talking at Remus, Peter and haley all stood together staring at the very ugly man as he tried his best to convince something to set him free.

"What should we do about professor snape sir" haley asked as Remus hummed. "Oh. I didn't even think of that" he mumbled. "Sir. I must ask. Do you have something to keep you from transforming?" Haley asked as the professor nodded. "Why yes I take a potion. I have to make myself. Professor snape made it once than after that I did it myself" he smiled as haley nodded. "You took it tonight right. There's a full moon tonight" haley asked as his face dropped. "Ya know for a man who turns into a killing machine. You'd figure he'd pay attention to the moons phases and be prepared" haley shook her head as she shook her head. He looked up at the sky as his pupils started to get bigger.

"Haley watch fascinated by the scene as she felt Harry grab her and pull her away from the professor she noticed Sirius holding on tight to him as Peter picked up the wand that fell from one of there hands as he held it. "No" haley shouted as the wand flicked out of his hand. He waved bye as he transformed back into a rat and took off. "There you four are. Once we get back to the castle-" professor snape said coming out of the tree as haley shushed him pointing to behind him. Professor Lupin was now fully transformed. And Sirius was out of sight. "Stay behind me" professor snape said wrapping his arms around the kids as they all looked over.

"Wait" haley said snacking out of his arms. "Granger no" he said trying to grab onto haley as she swatted at his hands. "Professor" she mumbled as the creature held his head low but slowly looked over towards haley. "Hello sir" haley smiled bending down to his level. She held her hand out at he slowly leaned forward and began sniffing Haley's hand as haley smiled. She heard something behind her as she looked over seeing Sirius was now a dog but hasn't shown himself. "May I bet you sir" haley asked as his eyes shampooed over to hers, he began to stand up on his back two legs causing haley to stand as well, hand grabbed her wand as she tried to think of a spell to stop him.

He reached an arm up as haley put hers with her wand in hand. "Incindio" haley shouted as a bolt a fire shot out scaring the thing as he swung his arm hitting Haley's arm, she fell to the ground in pain holding her arm. As Sirius leaped over haley grabbing onto his arm. Haley scurried off back towards the group as the watched Remus and Sirius fighting. "We're gonna die" Ron whined. "Hopefully it'll be quick" Hermione said. "Highly doubtful. Werewolf's are basically bigger and meaner versions of dogs. They like to play with their food before they eat so most likely slow and painful." Haley corrected them as they watched Sirius fly all the way to the side as the creature started to move towards them as a howling came from the distance.

"What the-" haley asked confused. They watched as he howled back and took off. "We must all get to the castle. The professor stated as Harry took off towards Sirius as they watched Sirius stand up as a man now but stumble off than fall again. Haley got up and went after them. "You two no" haley heard professor snape as she ignored him going after Harry she looked up hearing dementors as she tried harder to get to Harry to stop him. She stopped at the lining of trees seeing a frozen over lake. Sirius laid beside it as Harry hovered over him crying.

She looked back up towards the sky seeing dementors coming towards them. "No" haley mumbled as she pulled her wand out. She saw as Harry stood up creating the charm but it wasn't strong enough. "No Harry. Control your feelings" haley muttered as the dementors started going after Harry and Sirius. "Fuck" haley groaned as she tried to think of a happy thought. One strong enough to ward off so many of them. "No damnit" haley groaned as she took off and slid beside Harry before he passed out. "You fucking idoit" haley groaned as she laid him down as she stood up. Holding her wand out.

"Expecto. Protonum" Haley screamed thinking about her mother, and all the fun they use to have. She wipped her tears away as she led her wand up proud. Only for her thoughts to get interrupted by her father. She saw the charms slowly dying. "No" Haley groaned as a dementor swooped down after Haley. She screamed as another came after her. She fell to her knees. As another came after them, she held her head down as Harry grabbed her arm. They looked over seeing a protronus charm of a buck. On the other side of the lake. Haley chuckled as another dementor swooped down towards haley but they were all shot off and away from the area. Haley sighed. "Thank you Hermione" haley sighed as she fell down, landing on Harry's chest as everything went dark.

"Why isn't she awake. Harry is awake, Ron you're alright. Why not haley what happened to her" Hermione yelled as the nurse shrugged confused as well. "Maybe she's just sleeping" harry said as Hermione scoffed. "You are a nurse you should know why she's still unconscious." Hermione stated as the nurse sighed. "Do you or do you not" Hermione demanded an answer as the nurse looked up at her. "Miss granger. Your cousin as a very detailed history of being in and out of hospitals and why. I don't feel comfortable sharing with you the details. All I can tell you though is I'm doing what notes from other nurses and doctors have done that have worked" she smiled as Hermione scoffed.

"Why can't I know what's wrong with her. She's my cousin like you said. That means family. Tell me something so I can let my parents and her mother know" Hermione demanded as the nurse shook her head. "I would rather lose my job and be escorted off the premises before I do that. If you want to know. You need to ask her yourself, when she wakes up. For now all I can tell you is that. It supposedly take at least three days for her to wake" the nurse said as Hermione groaned. "I'm sorry." She said as the doors opened and the headmaster walked in. "I'll leave you all alone now" she smiled as she left. "Sir. Respectfully your nurse needs to be fired" Hermione shot. "She's the best we got and not that easy to replace" dumbdore smiled. "She won't tell me what's wrong with my cousin than says it take three days for her to normally wake up" Hermione said as the man nodded walking up beside Haley's bed.

"Yes I know. I looked over the charts as well and I must say I don't think you know your cousin all that well" the headmaster sighed. "Or you would know what's going on. I've already contacted her mother and your parents to let them know what's going on with her and her mother said to follow the notes. They always work best. And your parents are on their way back from Florida" he instructed. "Sir. They've got the wrong guy. Sirius is innocent" Harry said changing the subject. "It's true sir" Ron sighed as they began explaining to him about what happened in the shrieking shack.
