Y/n POV

Taylor and myself have been hanging out for a while now however we definitely held off having the conversation that we needed to but it's time that we finally have it.

"Taylor" I called out from my room and shortly after the blonde appeared in my room with a nervous look

"What's wrong? You never call me 'Taylor' unless something is wrong" Taylor said as she came over and sat on the small sectional I had in my room

"We just need to talk" I said as i noticed the blue eyed girl stiffen

"You don't want to work on us anymore?" She asked worry laced in voice as tears brimmed her eyes causing me to laugh

"Not that kind of talk Tay. Just to talk about our break up I know we spoke about something's but it's time to get just get everything out in the open" I said as she let out a sigh of relief before nodding.

"How about we make a rule to be honest about everything so whatever one of us asks each other we both have to answer" I said as the blonde nodded

"What do you wanna know" she asked

"What made you feel like you couldn't come to me and tell me you were scared we've been dating for 5 years tay." I said as her face washed over with guilt as she looked down with a sigh

"I felt like you would be annoyed, you always have to deal with my problems, my insecurities, my moods, even when I spiral you deal with it. I could bring this up, what person would sit there and say to the one they love and person that's always there for them hey I'm scared to marry you. A fucked up person that's who. And then everyone was talking about kids and i know I want to marry you deep down in just scared but kids, y/n I never thought of having them until I met you. Having the thought of losing you and our kids sent me down a rabbit hole I just couldn't crawl out of, so I thought if we would just take a break I'd be able to sort everything out,but then matty happened because I went out and got trashed then I saw you were with Kendall so I didn't even bother reaching out, because I thought you hated me." Taylor admitted as she tried miserably at holding back her tears as I reached over and took her hand in mine.

"Tay, you'll never ever be a burden. The whole point of having a partner is to have someone to be there to love you and help guide you through these kinds of problems. Just for the record I could never hate you." I said as she nodded as I pulled her into me as she cried in my arms, whispering sorry over and over again.

"It's okay" I said as I piled away after a few minutes and wiped her tears

" I also want to apologize for not fighting for us. I didn't see you were struggling and for that I'm sorry. I should've been more aware" I admitted to the blonde who shook her head

"No no, you wouldn't have known." Taylor said as the next couple of hours passed by we talk about where we stood and set new boundaries for each other, promising that we'd always come to one another to speak on what's bothering us no matter the scale of the issue.

A few days later ...

Y/n POV

It was just Taylor and I in her dressing room she had 10 minutes before she had to make her way to the stage and everyone cleared out her dressing room to give us some alone time.

"This the last one" I said as she nodded while pulling me in for a kiss

"Tay seriously I'm trying to be serious" I said because I know that this has to have her feeling some kind of way she's wrapping up the 1sg leg of her 1st tour that she's been back on in years.

"So am I, I want to celebrate by making out with my super sexy girlfriend" Taylor said causing me to roll my eyes as she captured my lips with hers.

There was a knock on the door which caused Taylor to grown
