Y/n POV

Taylor and myself have been talking for awhile and we've been really transparent about things between us. I've known how I felt about the blonde for awhile now however, but we both agreed to no labels and just seeing where things take us.

I'm getting ready to head home when my work best friend came in my office.

"Hey y/n did you think about Serena's question yet?" My coworker asked as I sighed

"I don't know maddy, I'm kind of seeing someone at the moment but not really, I don't know but it's complicated" I explained, if that even was an explanation, to maddy

"You talk about this chick a lot y/n yet you always say how she's not ready to be committed, how you guys are taking things slow and you're not doing labels...you even said she went on a date with someone else, I don't think it'd be a problem if you did the same" maddy pointed out as I gave it a thought. She wasn't wrong, Serena is a great girl, she's nice and funny I don't really see a reason to not go on a date. If Taylor is going dates then so should I, I mean what bad could come from this really.

"I'll call her on my way out" I said as she gave me a high five and did a little happy dance causing me to roll my eyes at how extra my friend is.

I headed downstairs and saw my driver holding my door open for me. I gave him a quick smile as I mumbled a quick thank you as I entered the car.

I pulled out my phone, my thumb hovered over Taylor's contact but I shook my head and scrolled down to Serena's contact to press call.

It rang and she picked up on the 3rd ring.

"Y/n hey" the blonde greeted

"Hi, do you still want to grab dinner tonight" I asked

"Yeah yeah of course I'll meet you at the restaurant" I could practically her the blondes smile through the phone

"Sounds good I'll seen you then" I said before hanging up. I let out a quick sigh as Arden my driver looked up.

Arden has been working for my family for basically all my life. He's more like family to me than help, I can trust him with my life, I consider him a confidant.

"Everything ok ms. Y/l/n" Arden asked through the mirror as we pulled up to my driveway

"Yes, just a long day at work is all" I said as he eyed me but decided not to push further

I headed to my room and began to get ready for my date. I saw Taylor texted me earlier today but I haven't replied. I closed out my messages app to help me keep my mind off the singer.

I headed into the shower to freshen up after about 30 minutes I came out and saw a missed call from Taylor. I debated calling her back but the memories of her semi ghosting me while she was on a date with some other girl came to my mind. I clapped my hands and my favorite playlist began playing on my surround sound system of my glamour room.

I sat in my robe and began my make up. Once I was done with picking out my dress I got a call on my closet phone from downstairs

"Ms. Y/l/n, Ms. Swift is on line 1 asking to speak with you. Would you like to speak with her" my maid asked

"Thank you Ms. Thompson, but can you please tell Taylor I'm not home" I said before hanging up.

Once I was ready I headed down stairs and made my way to the door as I text Arden I was ready. He pulled around front in my matte black g wagon.

I saw I was just on time so I made my way into the car. After 20 minutes I arrived at the restaurant and headed in.

"Reservation for y/l/n" I said to the hostess
