Keeping up with the Swifts

Hi, for those of you that don't know I'm y/n Jenner. I'm what's considered the black sheep of my family. Everyone knows them and due to my family's status most people think I'm some stuck up snobby nepo baby like my siblings however that is far from it.

My family has doesn't acknowledge me being the middle child of the youngest definitely didn't help either but I think the downfall of my family's relationship with me would be around 15. Kendall went into modeling and my family wanted me to do the same but I didn't so they cut me off financially thinking it would change my mind but I didn't care for the Louis bags or Bentleys like sisters I would wear vans and skateboard to school so them cutting me off didn't affect my lifestyle when I picked up a job a pizza place. 

When my mom found out she was livid, saying how could I Tarnish our families name and make a mockery of us by working there, but she wasn't anything close to this current moment.

"Y/n Jenner are you kidding me? You're dating THAT girl. Do you know how much pain she's brought to our family. What is Kim going to think?" My mom fumed as I sat in her office listening to her rant.

"Mom it was actually the opposite" I tried before she cut me off

"Y/n this isn't funny. Kim did no such thing to girl. You know if you choose Taylor over us then then...I-I you're not welcomed in this family anymore" my mom shouted with tears in her eyes

I let out a sigh "ok" I said before getting up and walking out

"You're calling things off with her right" my mom questioned looking at me. All my life my mom has never shown she's cared about this much and I feel bad because I know my answer is going to ruin her but I have to do what's best for me. I shook my head

"No, I'll see you around kris" I said as my mom sobbed making me exit her office and house.

Later that evening

"Babe how'd it go?" Taylor asked as I walked into my house dropping my keys on the entryway table.

"How I thought it would, my mom basically vanished me from my family and her main concern in all this is how Kim would feel" I said as the annoyance laced my words.

"I'm sorry baby, I really feel bad that I'm the one coming in between you and your family." Taylor said sadly as she looked down causing me to shake my head

"Listen me and my sisters were close but not like how they were amongst themselves it was only really khloe and rob i was really close with and maybe Kylie sometimes but everyone else probably won't even realize that I'm missing" I half joked as tay shook her head

"I'm sorry" Taylor mumbled

"Hey enough of that, really" I said lifting her head up gently by her chin pulling her in for a quick kiss of reassurance.

Narrator POV

The couple made a soft launch of their relationship most of Taylor's fans hated the thought of Taylor dating a kar-Jenner but when they saw how much y/n was disregarded by her family from old clips of keeping up with the kardashians as well as y/n's own admission in old interviews they came around to the girl.

Kris Jenner came out saying how much she missed y/n and didn't know where this story of her being an outcast of the family came from.

Kim made a whole story about how betrayed she felt by her sister but understands that the past is the past and wants to reconcile with her sister

Kourtney didn't care, which wasn't unusual for her but she understood what it was like to be with someone her family disliked. Unbeknownst to the family and yourself Kourtney was proud of you for standing up for what you wanted but more importantly who, she could tell that you were dating someone but you ever revealed who however all Kourtney knew was that she's never seen you that happy before and that was enough for her to know her little sister was in love.
