I have been having a fling with Taylor for almost a year and a half now. It started as a drunken hook up and then it just kept going on. We said it would stop once either of us got in a relationship but despite Taylor having a boyfriend she still called me over. I know it was wrong and I would never thought I'd be someone's side chick here I am. I caught feelings for Taylor before we had even begun this whole situation. I thought it would be something that I could handle but my feelings for her have only intensified. She knew about my crush on her but said that we're only friends and she doesn't see me as anything more than a friend, but she sends me mixed signals all the time. She would act like we were a couple and we'd do things as if we were a couple, she always calls me babe,baby, and anything else she thinks of but when I had suggested we take that step and get into a relationship she shuts it down immediately.

She's recently got into this relationship with this guy,Travis, and I genuinely feel bad because he's actually a nice guy and seems into her. He doesn't deserve to be cheated on and I don't deserve to be stringed along so I ghosted Taylor. She calls me and texts me all the time but I never pick up.

I've tried to move on and no one has really had the effect on me that Taylor's had but I'm still giving this one girl a chance. Out of all the people I've gone on dates with this past 2 and a half weeks she seems like she could be the one to help me get over Taylor. I think I'm actually really starting to like her. I looked at the text message and swiped the notification off my screen. A part of me feels bad about not even giving her a reason as to why I'm ignoring her but I felt it was best that I just pretend like the whole situation never happened.

The weekend flew by and I was having the time of my life. I was actually enjoying myself with this girl I've been seeing, Camille, we've gone on dates every day this weekend. She's so easy to talk to and she's understanding about how I'm still getting over someone.

"I've had such an amazing time with you this weekend, I don't want it to end" cami shyly admitted causing me to blush and smile.

"Me to cami, do you want to get brunch before you leave?" I asked as she nodded

"Yeah let me go freshen up and I'll meet you back here for brunch" she asked grabbing her keys as I nodded as she gave me a quick peck on the cheek before I opened the door.

To say I was shocked when I opened the door was an understatement.

"I'll text you" cami said to me as she walked past Taylor causing the blonde to send her a slight glare before entering my apartment and closing the door behind not giving me a chance to say bye.

"So that's why you've been ignoring me" Taylor replied as if the words that fell from her mouth held an awful taste.

"What are you doing here Taylor" I asked, I don't want to fight with her I just want to forget I ever even met her

"I was worried about you you weren't answering me, so I left early to check on you and it turns out you're doing just fine" Taylor spat as I rolled my eyes

"Taylor you don't have to worry about me, I didn't ask you to leave early. I was ignoring you I thought you'd take the hint" I said as uf it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Why? That's so messed up y/n. What is it now ? I didn't text back soon enough for you gosh it's not like we're in a relationship" Taylor spat as I looked at her as if she was crazy
