Of course Yoongi didn't text me nor call me in the next few days. I am really ashamed to admit that I really hoped Yoongi would call or at least text me to meet up with him and have a proper chat about our now broken relationship. Luckily, I was really busy with planning the "black and white" party at one of the most prestigious hotels in Seoul. That was a good reason to forget about Min Yoongi and concentrate on my job and forget about my stupid and childish love problems.
I started to lose all my hopes to receive a call from him, when suddenly my phone rang. I didn't look at the caller ID because I was expecting Mina to call me to meet up and talk about the party.
"Finally, Mina! I was just about to call you. Did you get the mail? The old man wants all the chandeliers in the event room to be black and white like who the hell it's going to change the chandeliers..."
From the other side of the line I heard a throaty laugh and a deep voice that said:
"I'm pretty sure that you'll get in big trouble if one of the most powerful businessmen in the country finds out that you call him "old " .
Damn it, that was definitely not Mina's voice.
"I will get in trouble only if he finds out...which I strongly doubt that he will."
"Unless I tell him...."
"You wouldn't dare!"
"Try me!" His tone was playful. Playful, like the way a cat chases a mouse, corners the mouse and starts lifting it up by its tail.
"I am truly honored that you called me, sir! But I really don't have time for chit -chat so please Yoongi say why you called me?" I tried hard to keep my cool and my tone flat.
"I really would appreciate it if you would clean up your schedule a bit and make room for a meet up with me. So you know...we can properly discuss why you left and broke our engagement..." His tone continued to be playful even though I could sense the sarcastic tone that he used this time.
"I'm really busy Yoongi! Besides you have a tour ahead so you need to rest too. "
God ,it's good that he could not read my mind right now cause all I wanted was to see him, to meet him and talk to him and maybe sort things out. But those were just dreams and I'm tired of fueling my disappointment because in reality this it's never going to happen.
"Then I guess I really have to call mr. Yun Kwan, who is one of the most influential businessmen in Korea by the way, and let him know that his event planner, that he hired to organize his party , bad-mouthed him to her co-worker. "
"You're bluffing just to make me angry!"
"Not at all princess, I'm deadly serious. I need you to text me the location and time so we can meet and talk. See? I'm a nice guy and I'll let you decide the day and the time, but I wanna know the information by tonight."
"You're terrible. Are you really using blackmail on me just to have it your way? "
"Princess, call it how you want. I wouldn't call it blackmailing. I just know you too well and you will follow your good girl principals in your job and avoid creating a bad image to one of the biggest event planner companies in Asia. Imagine how badly will your boss react and all of your co-workers and all of your company's clients if one of the most appreciated employers of the company bad-mouthed an important businessman like Yun Kwan!"
His tone was now sarcastic, playful and flirtatious. He was playing games with my mind again, Like he said he knows me too well and knows my weakness.
"Damn you Min Yoongi! I really hate you!"
