Fitz Avery Vacker was feeling a little lost after Sophie had broken up with him. It had been a hard few weeks of trying to adjust to life without her and figuring out that his backstabbing best friend, Keefe got her instead.
One day, while walking through the streets of Atlantis , Fitz spotted Marella Redek. She was beautiful and he felt drawn to her. He decided to try talking to her.
Marella was kind and understanding. She listened to Fitz's story about Sophie, and he felt a spark of a connection with her. Before he knew it, he leaned in and kissed her at first because he saw Sophie to make her jealous but she didn't look his way.
After the kiss, Fitz was overwhelmed with emotion. He knew he had to tell Marella the truth and he would have to break her heart in the process. He told her about Sophie and how he was using her to try to fill the void that Sophie had left behind.
Marella was devastated. She ran off, tears streaming down her face. She made her way to Fluttermont, her home, where she could find solace.
Fitzory felt horrible for the pain he had caused Marella. He wished he could take it all back, but it was too late. He only hoped that someday Marella would forgive him.
