Chapter 11: The origins

"Hidey hide. Hide away." The devil whispers as Frederic activates the third generator.

You quickly activate the fourth generator while hearing Moondrop adding: "Bad children must be found...".

However, overwhelmed by the stressing situation, you don't remember which way to go to find the last generator. You end up taking a tunnel leading you to the top floor instead. You retrace your steps and try to get into another tunnel, facing a dead end.

"Knock knock..."

You turn back to see Moon with red glowing eyes staring at your soul.

"It's past your bedtime..."

You scream at the top of your lungs and crawls away from him, hopelessly trying to find the last generator to turn everything back to normal. Finally, you succeed in reaching it and actively turn it on. Lights come back in the Superstar Daycare.

" - Good job, you made it!

- Wh-what am I doing here?"

You get out of the playpen and see Frederic. You rush towards him and hug him.

" - Thank God you're alive.

- I was worried about you when I heard you screaming.

- I survived, though.

- Of course. That's what matters the most."

You softly smile at him. He blushes a little.

"A-anyway, let's get out of here-"

You press a random button, causing Sun to grab you and start walking towards the entrance of the daycare.

"Rule-breaker, RULE-BREAKER! You are banned from the Daycare!"

After ensuring the two of you got kicked out of the daycare, he slams the door behind you. You see Monty, Chica and Roxane from a distance.

" - What do we do now?

- Run!"

Frederic grabs your wrist and flee with you towards the security office, then closes the doors.

"We will be safe here... I think. We'll have to make sure the three of them don't get into this room. We have a limited battery. Try to keep them away while I'm looking for another way out."

You leave the doors open to consume less power. Checking the cameras, you notice Montgomery approaching rapidly. You quickly run to the door and close it, hearing a loud thump a few seconds later.

"Close one..."

But you have no time to rest: Roxy is coming for you. You jog to the opposite side of the room to close another door. You reopen the door that stopped the alligator as thereof is gone. You hear a female voice calling you.

"[Y/n]."

You take a look at the cameras and see a woman in a rabbit costume holding a knife.

"Nope, you won't catch me either!"

You run fast enough to close another door and re-open the one that blocked Roxane Wolf.

"[Y/n], let me in, please. Your friends are looking for you..."

You don't have either the desire nor the time to answer, too busy trying to stop the other animatronics.

"Who wants candy?"

You turn back and see Chica approaching another door. You sprint and close it just in time. The two other animatronics come back, forcing you to close all the doors. They are all banging at them as you check the power:

" - Holy frick! Frederic, we need to hurry up!

- I'm trying, [Y/n]!"

The power goes off, leaving you in the darkness as the doors open.

"[Y/n]! Come here! I found a vent!"

You rush towards him and escape the security office.

It is now 2 AM. The night isn't over yet.
