Chapter 13: All eyes on you

The room in front of you is just a long hallway. There is nothing here but the darkness surrounding you. You move forward and after a while you meet a single endoskeleton.

"He is right in front of the door. We have to lure him in a corner of the room. I'll step back so it doesn't see me. Good luck."

Frederic turns around and gets back in the dark corridor. 

"Well, our future rests on my shoulders."

You walk towards a corner of the room. 

"Let's play statues, or red light, green light, whatever."

You show your back to the robot and say "Green light!". You can hear it quickly approaching. You turn back and yell "Red light!". You jolt as you look up at the machine standing right in front of you. You get around it and walk backwards towards the next door, relentlessly staring at the endo. Once you reached your goal, you press the button to open the door.

"The coast is clear, Frederic!"

The young man joins you.

"Good job! Let's get out of here now."

Now that you aren't in the room anymore, this endoskeleton won't be able to chase you as it can't see you anymore.

" - Did you really play the "Red light, green light" game with a dangerous animatronic that could have crushed your bones using a single hand?

- Yes.

- You are crazy.

- This place is a hellish madness anyway."

You turn right and spot many endoskeletons hiding in the shadows.

" - I hope you have stamina.

- I hope so.

- We'll have to run until the end of this corridor. Are you ready?

- I have no choice anyway."

He takes your hand as you start sprinting together. When you can't run anymore, you turn back and watch the pursuing robots. Once you regained enough energy, you restart running and open the third locked door. More animatronics are added to the fray. 

"There is a room that isn't visible for them. We need to reach it to take a breath."

You run faster, feeling the metal claws close to your back. You succeed in reaching the said area.

" - What's the plan now? We have like dozens of killing machines hunting us and waiting for us behind that door.

- For now they are patrolling around the zone. We need to be carefull. I spotted the button to open the next door a bit further in this corridor. There are also some hidding spots in which we could get away from their sight. Even if they see us getting into them, they won't look in them.

- Alright then.

- How are you doing so far?

- Fine I guess.

- Ready to get back into the fight?

- Yes. Let's go."

You crack the door open and take a peek outside of the safe room. You see an animatronic approaching and you quickly close the door.

" - One of them is coming.

- Let's just wait."

As soon as the endoskeleton is gone, you rush into the corridor and hide in a container large enough for two people but not wide enough to get comfortable. The two of you are very close to each other.

" - It's tight in here.

- Is it, though?~"

You look at him, blushing harshly.

"Wh-what do you mean, Frederic?"

He gets his face closer to yours.
