They were crashing through the village, yelling, "Aang, we have to go now!" You yelled, heading for Appa.
He stood there, staring, eyes wide. "They are destroying the village..."
"Ya! So we need to get out of here!"
"But," He turned to you. "We need to help, Yn!"
"You can help by leaving! They want you!"
You watched as he weighed his choices. He looked at the village once more before running and joining you on Appa.
While making sure you had everything, Katara appeared. "I'm coming with!"
"Ya, no thanks, sweetie." You scoffed at her, "You should be staying back.
"I'm coming with you!" She demanded as you both stared each other down.
"Let's go, Aang."
He looked between you both. "Yn, I sort of agreed to have her come so I can have a waterbender teacher..."
"You did what?!"
Sokka came running up, "Get going!"
"We are trying! But apparently, this dumb sister of yours has made a deal to come with! That I was not involved in!" You looked as some guards began to point at Appa. "We need to leave now!"Sokka looked back. Their Gran gran was standing outside the village looking at them. She nodded once, Sokka nodded back. "We are both going, come on."
"What!?"
Aang was already helping them up. They both got on. "Hang on. YIP YIP!"
Appa took off, and Katara and Sokka heald the sandel tightly while you still stood. In disbelief.
Fireballs started to get shot at you all. You hooked your feet on the side of the saddle and began altering the wind to stop the fireballs from hitting you.Once in a clear sky, you plopped down across the saddle from Katara and Sokka. Arms crossed, glaring at them.
"Yn, you can't be mad at them. I agreed to have them come along."
"You're right, I should be mad at you for agreeing to such a childish..." You took a deep breath, remembering he was a child. "They shouldn't have come."
"Stop talking about us like we aren't here!" Katara argued.
You glared at her, and Sokka spoke up, "Look, man, I didn't want to come, but I wasn't letting her go alone." He was sitting with his arms crossed, pouting.
"Oh, that makes me feel soooo much better. Aangs new pushy water bender teacher and some guy who doesn't even want to be here."
"I am not pushy!" Katara crossed her arms.
"You kinda are." Sokka mumbled.
She glared at him as you chuckled a bit.
"Please, can everyone just calm down?" Aang asked from his spot, steering.
"Ya," Sokka spoke again, seeming less upset. "Aren't all airbenders supposed to be peaceful?"
You rolled your eyes, "Are you stereotyping me right now?"
"Yn, don't be like that." Aang left his spot and joined the saddle, sitting along the edge, in-between you all. "Most air benders are, and I'd say their peaceful... sometimes..." You glared. There was a long silence, finally you got bored. "Alright, where are we even going?"
Aang looked at you, "I thought you knew."
You blinked and looked at him, completely confused. "Dude, you're the one steering Appa. He's kind of your bison."
There was a silence, and you sighed, grabbing one of the bags the water tribe village gave you. Pulling out a map, you spread it out, using your knees to hold down two corners.
You were staring at it, trying to figure out where you guys needed to go.
Sokka crawled over, clearly nervous about the height. "We should head here." He pointed at a town.
Aang timed in, "We need to head to the Southern Air Temple first."
There was a silence before Katara spoke, "Aang... the Airbenders were wiped out long ago..."
"I don't believe that. We are going!"
She went to speak again, but you gave her a look.
Truth be told, you wanted to see for yourself. "Alright, let's go then."
