"You can struggle all you want. Beg for your life even, [Y/N]-sshi."

"I thought we all agreed to not lay a fang on her."

"Doctors don't have the responsibility or authority to supervise villagers' lives."

"Then... Then there's absolutely no way that Jang Wonyoung would come back to life."

"It would appear that we may have a slight problem."

"Whatever problem it may be, no matter how good or bad, make sure to take care of it. Do I make myself clear?"

Hyungsik turns his head at the friendly pair of childhood. They still sit and wait for any viable signs of life in death itself. None are bothered to look behind them, to sense what could jeopardize their entire lives. And that was a good thing; the male vampire would catch them off-guard. He'll have them act as hostages, or, even better, two free meals for those who are supposed to rise in a day or two. Yet, it's a fleeting glimpse that has him back away.

"Hey. What are you guys doing here?"

Before they knew it, Chan and Lily stumbled backwards. Their own throat, hoarse from screams they don't even notice already coming out of their own mouths. The back of their feet catches on a loose stone, sending him sprawling to the ground. The resulting pain completely jolts them out of the haze blurring their minds.

"Ow... That hurts like hell..."

"Y-You are...Lee [Y/N]? Crisis, we didn't see you standing there! You gave us the fright of our lives!"

You plainly roll your eyes, leaning against a tall tree with the hunch of your back. Your gaze shifts and alters from them to the European-style house. If you were to piece this together, then you would say that these two were also skeptical about the people living in that god-forsaken mansion. It doesn't help the fact that one of them was carrying a whole metal baseball bat; like they were from a preposterous tale of Bonnie & Clyde.

"So, why are you out here?"

Chan and Lily look to each other for any answers. They had to come up with something believable yet there was nothing to put forth. How it looks is what it appears–they were going to barge into the huge estate and probably do nothing but tickle the iron gates of the Jung residence. They might as well just give up and call it a day.

"Um... We were..."

"If I remember correctly, you're in my gym class, right? Chan and Lily?"
