Rise of the Serpentine 🐍 Episode 1: Rise of the Snakes

Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago using four elemental weapons. But when he passed, a dark presence sought out to collect them all: Lord Garmadon. So I, Sensei Wu, his brother, sought out to find four ninja to collect them.

'Ok...what am I doing again?' I thought as stood in the middle of a village next to a fountain.

So I looked back to my note inside my journal. Apparently I was in the Jamanakai Village because this one store is said to have a better deal on one of my favorite snacks. 'Oh yeah that's why. I was told that the store in Jamanakai had a better deal on the snack I want than the one in Ninjago City. Since it's really hard to get to the village.' I thought as I looked at the sticky note that had the name of the store and of a chibi version of me pointing at the store name. So I thought of whether to ask a complete stranger where this store was or just walk around until I find the store as I fear the thought of human interaction.

And so my journey to fulfill my craving has started but the only question that I still ask myself is 'Am I really gonna be able to eat this snack?'

See besides the perks of good deal I did try a couple of stores that was closers to where I was but the most terrible thing happened, they were all out of Pockies. That was the snack I was craving and for some reason the only store that had them was in Jamanakai Village. "I bet that old man told one of those future writers to do this so I would come here." I muttered angrily as I prepared myself to wander around this village until I find this store. Since there is no way in any dimension would I ask a random person for directions, that would require actual knowledge on how to talk to people.

But the strangest thing happened, people started to run away, as someone was doing a very bad attempt at an evil laugh next to the fountain where I was standing. So I look to my right and saw a large shadow approaching, only for it to shrink and turn into a kid with a black hoodie. They had either really blond hair or dyed hair in that color, which could be mistaken as white, green eyes and was a few inches shorter than me. "It is I, Lloyd Garmadon. I demand all the candy in town, or else!" the kid, or Lloyd, yelled out.

'Eh?' I tilting my head to the side questioning life. 'Like I know kid's got a some what evil father but seriously where is the rest of the plan to get the candy?' I thought and I saw four people in pajamas? 'Why are they in pajamas? I mean I'm not one to judge I've worn pajama pants outside before but...why...just why?' I thought while contemplating the outfits chosen by these people.

"Lloyd Garmadon? I thought we were gonna face Lord Garmadon." the Blue pajama person said to the other pajama people. "It's his son." the person in Black said while the Blue one looked defeated. "Looks like he escaped his boarding school for bad boys again. And to think we could be doing Spinjitzu already." the Black pajama person said clearly annoyed by the missed opportunity.

'Spinjitzu? Didn't that old man mentioned something about it centuries ago?' I thought as I watched the villagers bully this kid with vegetables as the kid threatened to release the serpentine. For some reason the person in the Red pajama believed that the serpentine weren't real while the person in the White pajamas tried to convince Red that they were real. 'Seriously aren't the serpentine written into history? Did this person ever read a book? Wait they look way to cocky and full of themselves to even bother.' I thought as I looked at these pajama people.

And so I followed the crowd and watched as these pajama people hung the kid by his hood on a sign. And then the pajama people and the villagers made fun of the kid. Soon they all left but I saw a familiar sign. 'My lord. Is that the store?' I thought as I quickly looked at my note to read the store name. "Old man I will still forever hate you but thank you for saving me so much time." I said with joy. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the kid trying to get off of the sign but was sadly failing. 'I swear does that old man just want me to save this kid from starvation?' I though questioning why that old man wants to save this one random kid.
