Rise of the Serpentine 🐍 Episode 8: Once Bitten Twice Shy

Previously on (Y/N)'s life.

We, really the pajama men, discovered that Zane was a robot or a nindroid. After that life changing discovery Zane made frozen Treehorn popsicles after he unlocked his ✨True Potential✨

Now Nya is giving us a history lesson with a Fangpyre skeleton. Everyone was bored out of their minds, except for Zane who was actually listening to her. Jay meanwhile was looking at Nya like a love sick teenage girl.

I looked at the skeleton for a second. 'Why does that skeleton look so familiar?' I thought trying to remember where I might have seen that skeleton. "Some villagers unearthed the remains of the Fangpyre a few miles away. It predates the Golden Age, and must have been hundreds of years old." Nya started.

'Wait is that Tylor?' I thought as I pulled out one of my older journals from my satchel bag and flipped to a certain page with a picture in it. The picture had me and Tylor, a Fangpyre who I met while exploring one day. 'Holy shit that is her!' I thought doing a double take from the picture to the skeleton. They were both about the same height and had very large fangs. With this new revelation I started to experience another midlife crisis.

This resulted in me not listening to all of Nya's information about the Fangpyre. "Resulting in...diminished,uh, excuse me," Nya paused with flushed cheeks, "is someone wearing perfume? I'm severely allergic to perfume." Ah yes was wondering when she'd bring it up. Honestly the smell was very pungent. I could smell it from Lloyd's and mine's room.

I could see Jay whispering to Kai. 'Probably bout how he mixed it up with men's cologne.' I thought. The lesson was practically over so I headed back to Lloyd's and mine room.

I sigh and flopped onto my bed that was on the right side of the room. I just stare at the ceiling for a few minutes. Then I start to drift off to sleep.

I open my eyes and see that I'm still in Lloyd's and mine room. I look at myself and see myself in my original form and being 6 ft tall. 'Jeez I forgot how tall I was back then.' I thought getting use to how tall I was.

I had my normal clothes on. Cargo pants, random t-shirt, leather jacket that was very comfortable to wear and kept me warm, my steel toe boots, and my fingerless gloves on.

After looking around I heard a knock at the door. "Hmm?" I hummed and opened the door. There I saw an older, bit taller, with very wavy blond hair version of Lloyd.

"Hey Greenie. You need something?" I asked looking at him. "U-Uh, yeah. I was wondering if you wanted to head to Doomsday Comix?" Lloyd fidgets with his hands and looks everywhere except my face as he continues "I heard there was a new issue of Starfarer and I know you wanted some more issues from that series you like. I also wanna check this one cafe, Uncle Wu said they make some good tea." He then starts to ramble that he tried to ask the others if they wanted to go, but they were all busy with things.

I just covered his mouth with my hand cus I was getting annoyed by his rambling. "Yes Lloyd I'd love to go out with you." I said smiling. I started to leave and he just stood there looking like a very happy golden retriever.

~Laloyd' POV~
'Oh my god....they said yes!' I thought happily. I could practically hear the up coming teasing if the others found out. Big emphasis on 'IF' cus they will never find out, ever. "Greenie come on!" (Y/N) yelled. I snapped out of my trance and ran to them.

And then I woke up.

'Dang, was that a future event? It must be important.' I thought pulling out my current journal and wrote down what went on in that dream.

I was now officially bored, the others went to Mega Monster Amusement Park while I was asleep. And I already know how that's gonna happen so here I am stuck ship sitting.

'Kinda sucks that I couldn't change the outcome of the first Fangblade. Oh well there is always next episode.' I thought while reading one of my comics.

Sorry if it's a bit short. I don't really know how I'll write (Y/N) in some episodes but I also don't wanna leave out the episodes since I like ordering it by episodes.
