Rise of the Serpentine 🐍 Episode 5: Can of Worms

Finally I was able to finish reading Good Omens. And let me tell you, I may have stayed up all night reading it but it was worth it. Sadly, due to my nonexistent sense of time I ended up staying up the entire night and now it was morning.

'...Welp,' I thought looking at the time, 'sleep is for the weak.' As I was standing up you could hear my bones popping. "Heck. I barely moved at all." I muttered while stretching my sore muscles. As I was looking around my eyes landed on a cappuccino machine.

And so after five minutes of trying to figure out how to use this stupid machine. I was however unsuccessful and ended up burning my hand. So I broke it by punching it. This will never come up again.

I was walking around with my stuff just, looking around the ship. I saw that the others were having breakfast together I, however, wasn't very interested in eating right now. So, I decided to snoop around the ship by opening up random doors. I soon stumbled upon Lloyd exiting his room with a couple different items. One of Kai's outdoor pajama suit and some random tools.

We just looked at each other for a few seconds. Just. Staring. "Sooo, what are you doing?" I awkwardly asked. He just looked at me with a deep look on his face. "Uncle Wu told me to prank the ninja and to say that someone else did it." Lloyd then thought for a moment, "Wanna help?"

"Sure why not." I said while shrugging my shoulders. Lloyd smiled and I dropped all my bags in his room. As soon as I dumped my bags in his room we went to cause chaos.

"Ok who first and how?" I asked as we walked down the hall. Turns out the old man sent the ninja out to run errands so they won't be back until around noon. "I think we should start with Cole, then Jay, Zane, and Kai last." Lloyd said as we continued to walk down the hall, "I may need help with Zane and Kai. I don't know how to work the washing machine and I'm not sure I'll be able to beat Kai's high score."

"You got it captain!" I jokingly said while saluting to him. He laughed at my joking manner and soon we were off to cause chaos.

Soon the ninja returned first Cole around 11:45, then Zane at 12, Jay came back at 1:30, and finally Kai at 2. As soon as Kai got back, he went to the game room to play Fist to Face 2. Lloyd was just passing by trying to find (Y/N), and he saw Kai in the game room about to play Fist to Face 2. So he decided to let him know about Cole getting a new high score on the game.

"Hey, Kai! I saw Cole playing that game a while ago when he came back. I think he beat your high score!" Lloyd exclaimed, "You should have seen it. It was pretty spectacular." Kai looked at him, confusion written across his face. "Uh, you must be talking about Sitar Legends." Kai stated, "This is Fist to Face 2. No one beats me on my game." he said confidently.

Lloyd just look at him confusingly. "Huh... I could've been wrong. I gotta go now, I'm trying to find (Y/N)." Lloyd cheerfully said as he walked away. Out of curiosity Kai decided to take a look at the high scoreboard. And just like Lloyd had claimed there was Cole's profile with the following scores: 9370, 7277, 5759, 4209, and 3224. To say he was enraged would be an understatement, he was furious! "Huh? COLE!" Kai yelled in rage.

In the kitchen, Cole was starting to prepare for dinner. He pulled out his Violet Berry Soup from the fridge. He had to prepare part of it yesterday in order for it to be ready for dinner today. "Mm-mm! Violet Berry Soup, my culinary achievement." Cole happily said as he continued to cook. "If the recipe is not followed exactly..." he started as he did a taste test, only to find a repulsive taste to his soup.

(Y/N) walked into the kitchen looking for someone, until they noticed Cole preparing dinner. "Oh, hey Black pajama guy. You making dinner tonight?" (Y/N) curiously asked. Cole nodded his head and said, "Yeah. I was gonna serve my famous Violet Berry Soup but, now for some reason it tastes horrible." (Y/N) sniffed the soup, and to say it took so much will power not to gag would be asking to lift the sky up like the Titan Uranus from Greek Mythology.
