Rise of the Serpentine 🐍 Episode 7: Tick Tock

Ok recap on what going on after Lloyd dipped on me and I decided to be emo.

Nya was the Samurai all along! *insert shock.png* I know right such a shocker to anyone but Kai, the old man, and myself!

Now on this normal field trip with the pajama men. I am currently watching the nindroid about to drown himself :D

"Ten minutes! He just broke his own record! The guy's inhuman!" Kai shouted in excitement. The rest of the pajama men were watching. This included myself. 'Lol the foreshadowing in that one sentence' I thought while watching them from the crow's nest.

As the pajama men celebrated the accomplishment they start to go into a flashback 'bout all their accomplishments. "The question should be raised. Perhaps we have reached our full potential?" questioned Zane.

So they went to find the old man while they bragged about their push-up record to be in the hundreds and thousands.

Haha, couldn't imagine that *looking at my single digit amount of push-ups* yeah definitely can't imagine that. I just decided to stay in the nest cus the old man is just spilling the lore to the pajama men. And I know a good portion of the lore already >:3. I also wanted to write a letter for Aunt M since the old man is gonna stop at her shop.

Anyway we drop off the old man off on a mountain. I jumped down from the crow nest and went to the old man. "Hey old man! Give this letter to the tea lady." I said while handing him the letter. So after that we left to find the Fangblade.

——🛫Travel time skip🛬——

So we've resulted to hang up missing posters of the Fangblade. 'Why am I doing this again? I could easily go and break out Lloyd...plot reasons I guess' I thought holding some of the posters.

"Oh this is silly" Zane muttered. Cole however overheard him and said, "Well do you have any better ideas?" Jay decided to join the conversation. "Hey, maybe Sensei is gonna go get the Samurai for help." he suggested.

"The Samurai? I'm sure she's—I mean, he's busy looking for the Fangblades as well." Kai said almost giving away the secret. 'Wow Kai nice save.' I thought sarcastically rolling my eyes.

Anyway tuning out the talking I notice the bird. 'Welp here we go.' I thought getting ready to transform my legs into a cheetah legs. This meant I had to take my boots and socks off. Luckily I can just ask Nya to bring them back instead of carrying them while running.

"Head back to the Bounty and wait till you hear from us." Kai said to Nya. "But where are you going?" Nya questioned. "We're gonna follow the bird. Who knows, it could lead us to the first Fangblade." Kai shouted back as he and the rest are following the bird.

Nya was just confused. I transformed my legs into cheetah legs and walked up to her. "Hey Nya I'm gonna follow them. Can you put these with my stuff please?" I asked holding up my tied up boots with my socks stuffed into them.

"Uh sure?" she hesitantly answered. "Thanks Nya! Remind me to help you with any of your projects or your Samurai suit!" I yelled back as I started to catch up with the pajama men.

I started to catch up with them. "Gotta go fast!" I yelled as I ran past them across the desert. They were obviously  very confused until Zane saw my legs. "So it was you who took that apple pie!" he exclaimed. "Yep. No regrets there." I shouted back still running ahead of them.

Soon we started to enter a snowy area. I just changed my legs into a cougar's since they can walk in the snow better than a cheetah. "How do you do that?" I heard Jay yell out to me. "It's called genetic magic pajama man #4!" I yelled back.

Now we reached a mountain. I turned my legs into a goat's since they're pretty good climbers. We end up leaving Jay on the mountain since he was out of breath. As soon as I reached the top I changed my legs back into a cougar's. We then reached a fallen tree. Kai, Zane and myself scampered over it. Cole was also out of breath so we left him there.

Finally we reached the sign warning us about the Treehorns. And we immediately left Kai there for plot reasons they come in later. Anyway we discovered that the bird was a robot and then Zane and I fight another robot.

"Hey pajama man #1. I'm gonna look around. Don't worry about what's on the paper." I yelled to him as I took my fingerless gloves off and stuffed them into my pocket. I changed my hands into a cougar's front paws and claws.

I just climbed a tree and stayed up there. I saw the other pajama guys come. 'Wonder how Aunt M liked my letter?' I thought waiting for them to walk out.

——Meanwhile with Aunt M——

"I would like to purchase some Traveler's Tea." Wu asked Mystake. "Never heard of it." she answered but with the few extra coins Wu put on the table. "You know, those who drink this never return." she warned while preparing the tea.

"Then I will not bother you again. Also (Y/N) asked me to deliver this to you." Wu said handing Mystake the letter in exchange for the tea.

She opened it and glitter spilled out of it. She just stared at it. "Oh they are so dead next time I see them." she muttered angrily.

Wu obviously got the hell out of there. "What did they write?" Mystake wondered opening the letter to read it.

'Hey Aunt M :D,
First of all sorry about the glitter.(I'm not >:) Anyway just wanted to let you know that I am in fact still alive. I'm currently living with the pajama men (the ninja). Also for some of reason certain powers are reappearing. Recently I've acquired the knowledge of the future for what I can only describe as 2 seasons. So about 23 episodes long, 16 episodes are left now. (I'll get my og form back soon :) Also I just experienced my first time skip! Yeah I was shocked as well. It's been awhile since I've had one. But yeah overall I'm fine. I'm gonna be chasing after a mechanical falcon soon and discover how humanoid a robot can act. Anyway see you later!

"Hmm so some of their powers are returning. Interesting, perhaps they'll get it back if they follow these pajama men." Mystake muttered to herself.

———Back to (Y/N)———

'Yeah I'm dead next time I see her.' I thought sadly. Anyway I watch the pajama men get their asses beat by the Treehorns.

Yadayada Zane saves the day by unlocking his ✨True Potential✨ We then head back to the Bounty.

—Meanwhile in another dimension—

The area surrounding Wu is dark and dreary and is purely chaotic.

"Hello, Brother. What took you so long?" Garmadon asked as he started to laugh maniacally as thunder roars in the background.

Hello there!
Tis I the one and only procrastinator author who is writing this at an obnoxious hour!
I'm done with anything that needed to be graded for school 🎉

Now all I gotta deal with now are social events T-T
But I can definitely say that my update schedule (or lack of) will be returning!

I am thinking about setting a goal of updating twice every week since social pressure from some random people on the internet will definitely help the progress

Also I completely forgot this was the title of an episode XD
