Ok I know I just uploaded my Author Note a few hours ago. But this is very important to me and other authors.
So I was board and decided to read an x reader fan fic cus I'm that board. And within the fan fic there was a Notice about how the author's story ended up on Teenfic.net without their consent.
I have heard of similar things happening to others. So outta pure curiosity I decided to look up my story and I found it.

This thing had already uploaded my author note!!! 😨 I'm letting everyone know right now. I don't write on any other sites other than Wattpad. And the only other site that I go onto is AO3 but even there in a lurker instead of writing there. I personally prefer Wattpad more cus I can change the background color.
So if you see my stories on any other platform other than Wattpad then it was uploaded without my consent or stolen. I honestly don't know what to do. This is my first time ever experience this so I'm not sure what to do.
But I can definitely ask everyone who reads this to please spread the word bout this sight. I'm being completely honest I don't think I can do much and I'm open to any suggestions but I definitely am not sure what to do.
Jesus this is crazy....now I'm probably gonna sound paranoid but I now feel like I gotta check all sites where some fan fics are to make sure mine isn't on there. Just glad all my very old and cringeworthy stories are not on it.
But yeah this was a wonderful experience to have at 3 am in the morning....
