Rise of the Serpentine 🐍 Episode 3: Snakebit

We have been walking...
FOR SEVERAL HOURS!

Lloyd and I are looking for the Fanpyre Tomb. Well mainly Lloyd, I'm just following for the chaos. Plus the kid's cool and we've become friends not best friends so I can't do weird shit with him, yet. Currently we were in the Cemetery of Souls where the map lead us. "This is a nice. Love what they've done with the place. Could spruce up their lawn and some other stuff." I joked while looking at the obviously creepy forest. Lloyd had one of my flashlights looking around the area with the map in hand and I was just following close behind him.

"It's not scary." Lloyd muttered looking around the creepy forest shining the light, "Um,maybe just a little, but I like scary. Yeah, that's it. I'm the son of the Dark Lord. I love the dark. I eat this stuff for breakfast!"Lloyd shouted out loud to hype himself up. I looked at him amused by his motivation. Then by shear coincidence lightning stuck causing Lloyd to scream dropping his flashlight and ran into my stomach wrapping his arms round my torso. This caught me off guard resulting in my brain to stop for a couple seconds.

Lloyd looked up and saw me looking down at him. He pushed back from me and turned back forward to continue on but it was clear to see that he was thinking about something at lightning speed. I just shrugged it off but mentally wrote down his reaction. If there was one thing I knew about Lloyd from the time we've spent was that he doesn't want people to know what he's feeling. Now I'm not sure why he does this, could be because he's a kid and he wants to look like he's all tough 'n stuff. The other possibility is that he has some kind of trauma. I honestly hope it's the first option but I knew this could be the affect of something bigger.

Lloyd then picked his flashlight back up and continued to lead the way. "I'm gonna make those Hypnobrai pay for betraying me. I have to find the Fangpyres. If there's anything a snake doesn't like, it's another snake. Here, by the mutated tree." Lloyd said out loud while he shined his light around searching for that tree. "I found it!" Lloyd exclaimed as he rushed over to where the opening is. "Soon, the Serpentine will know who their master is, and it will be I, Lloyd Garmadon!" Lloyd yelled out while trying, and failing, to do an evil laugh.

Then lightning struck causing Lloyd to scream a bit. Then when he opened the tomb a figure jumped out from the tomb. 'I swear if this bitch kills me like I'm some side character I'll haunt their ass.' I though seeing the figure with two heads casting an ominous shadow like we're in some kind of old horror movie. "And who...may I say released us...from our captivity?" the snakes asked as each head said a different part. "Uh, Lloyd? I released you to make the Hypnobrai pay for betraying me." Lloyd confidently said to the snake. "The Hypnobrai? Those hypnotizing deceivers. It'll be...our pleasure." the duo snake said.

"Oh, good. I'll lead the way. Then after that, there's some ninja I want dealt with." Lloyd explained to the snake. "Sounds like...you know...what you want. But the Hypnobrai are strong. And we are few in numbers. We need...reinforcements!" the snake said. And so we embarked the journey of ANOTHER SEVERAL HOURS OF WALKING!

'I'm gonna die of boredom from walking so much.' I thought as we came upon a junk yard. I just chilled up on the trailer's roof while watching Lloyd and the Fanpyre take over the junk yard and turned two humans into soon to be snakes. I was just plain out bored so I pulled out some random string I have in my pocket and started playing cats cradle.

~Time skip brought by lack of motivation~

It was finally morning after thanks to that time skip. "It's quite. My family's never quite." I heard a familiar voice from over the wall. 'Great their here now let the show start.' I thought looking over all the chaos that's about to happen from the roof of the trailer. "Lloyd!" that old guy yelled out to the kid. Thus the fighting begins. Cue the totally epic fighting. "Young nephew, must I teach you whose side you should be on? And why do you have the tea deliverer with you?" the old guy shouted. 'Oh look new information 'bout the old man I didn't know about.' I thought with loud music in the background.

Bla bla bla. More epic fighting. We escaped on a helicopter and that guy, Jay, flies right pass us. Soon he gets the staff and now we're chasing them to that ship where I stole the pie from looking much cleaner than the last time. Epic car chase. Bla bla bla. That ship can fly despite it being a ship and we get the staff back. "These ninja...they must be stopped." the snake General said. "Tell me about it. Now onto taking revenge on the Hypnobrai." Lloyd remarked.

Hello it's me. I'm alive(sadly). And holy shit round 100 reads....Thanks for reading this random brain idea.
I've been MIA for about 13 days. And tbh the reason why is b/c I was severely not motivated to write this episode.
So that's why it's several shorted than the others just lack of motivation and b/c the plot is mainly focused on the ninja.

Now I got a question.

Would you random people on the internet be interested if I wrote another story. I'm in a number of other fandoms other than Ninjago. For example Duck Tales(2017), Gravity Falls, FNAF, Good Omens(so happy season 2 came out), some anime, Undertale, Supernatural, Marvel, etc. etc.
For some I'd just write a reader insert based on what the show is about and what I may come up with.

Example:
Good Omens with Crowley and Aziraphale (cus I ship them and based on personal opinion since I can't for my life see them in a romantic way) I would make it a reader insert with the reader acting as their un announced adopted child *cough* like their marriage *cough* who does ship them.
Or Duck Tales and Gravity Falls I'd most likely make it a reader insert since most of the main characters are kids. Or if I do an OC insert type deal.

But I'm just throwing ideas out. Let me know what you'd be interested in. I'm not gonna discontinue this book since I have an actual idea and like where I want this to go.
